Oh~ How eager! Pleased by the other’s display, Ruka flashed an all too cheerful smile. “Alright, ready?” He paused for dramatic effect. Once a few seconds had ticked by, he opened his mouth to speak again– “It might blow your mind, but the hero I’m talking about… is already standing right in front of you.”

And he oh so dramatically pointed to himself, a smug aura surrounding him as he did. “I’m the official hero of this city!” Man, did he feel pretty darn cool at the moment or what!

He couldn’t help the loud squeal that came out of his mouth which he quickly tried to cover with his hands. he then tried to whisper his words to avoid drawing more attention to himself.

“Do you have a costume?”

He couldn’t help but overhear. The trailer for the new movie did seem cool, and admittedly, Ruka did want to go see it as well… but no movie could ever compare to a ‘real’ hero!

“You wanna meet a hero… like that?” He asks as he makes his way beside the other. “Hmm~ Maybe this might be your lucky day… ‘cause I actually know a real life hero that’s actually much, much cooler. You wanna hear who it is?”

Cupid couldn’t deny that his heart skip a beat at what the stranger had said. A real life hero would be so cool to meet! Of course there was the off chance that this stranger was some kind of creeper but if he was Cupid did have ways to probably escape. Eager to know more about the hero he excitedly nodded.

“Tell me! Tell me!”

The blacksmith said as he added more coals to the forge to keep the flame doing, shaking his hand to cool it down a bit.

“You can always try again if you want~ You never know fate may be on your side~”

“We don’t have enough materials to try again and also repair Sayo!” He began to cry loudly and spin around in circles. “That was my last shot! What if we can never get Juzumaru? He’s so pretty too I wanna touch his hair...”

“Ah, just about aruji-san! I have one row left to weed then I’ll be finished. Did you need something from me now?” Taking this opportunity he wiped the sweat and dirt from his face. Weeding was always difficult but it needed to be done.

“Nope! We made you lemonade!.” He said cheerfully taking out a tray with a large pitcher and a few cups all stacked up. “Thank you for working so hard! I appreciate it.”

He stood in front of a store window that held large screen where the trailer for a new superhero movie played. His pink eyes sparkled as he stared at it’s awesome action scenes.

“I wish I could meet a cool hero like that!” He accidentally said allowed not thinking of his surroundings.
