God I love watching agility runs because I have never seen more dogs having more fun, even when they make mistakes they are just so excited to do all the tricks! And run around all Zoomy! And then get hugs from their human!

I know we're all focused on the dog, but holy shit that handler had their work cut out for them. I've handled a few different dogs for agility and getting the fast ones to reign it in takes SO much patience. You send them over a jump and they just keep going through the tunnel, back over the jump, up the A frame, on the teeter, back over the same jump, over a different jump, before you can redirect them back to the fucking next jump! It's chaos and they are SO excited to do the things.

Also note- each course is set up new every time. They wouldn't have been able to practice ahead of this run. The handler gets 5 minutes to memorize the course before it starts. They are numbered but when you have a dog that fast you have no time to look for the next number.

The dog has to solely rely on the handler to know where to go next. The handler has to be able to pick up on the subtle cues that the dog is going off course within a fraction of a second to correct it because these dogs just fucking GO.
