It's my birthday today! Happy birthday to me i guess.
There's a lot i want to talk about but i've been taking a break from engaging too much on social media. I got sort of tired? Of discourses and discussions and everything and it felt so pointless to stress my brain over it, so i quietly withdrew from actively posting to sort of just being there. My mental health was also not that good when i was very active in the tf2 fandom, so it was nice to be outside the circle and be the nonchalant observer for some time.
My artblock was also pretty big, for some reason it was fine when i drew other stuff, but when i tried to draw tf2 there was this mental block that made me frustrated over the way i can't properly draw the mercs. I think throughout the time of me trying to copy the tf2 style, it stunted my ability to draw them naturally, and apart from maybe scout and engie i just keep getting artblock trying to draw anyone else. So that's something i'm trying to fix by drawing and studying non tf2 stuff that's live action or irl.
Also my supernatural hyperfixation came back, which is a thing. I was obsessed with that show back when i was 11? 12? And here we are again. Much to think of. I've also been spending my time rewatching the whole thing.
It's summerbreak rn so i have more time to draw, i've been saving wips so i can post something without a long break between. There's some tf2 and other art i wish to share with you guys soon. Maybe soon. Hopefully.
Hope you guys won't mind if i start posting other art among tf2, i know the majority of you are here for tf2.
I've also contemplated rebranding and changing my username because the unpronounceable reumv stresses me out. But i don't have any ideas for a new username so it'll still be reumv for a while.
So yeah, that's how i've been doing! Hope everyone's doing well too.
