We will be celebrating from July 20th to July 27th, 2026. Mark your calendars!

FAQs

What is a ship week?

A dedicated and inspiring week for fans to create a boatload of creations for their ship. There is a prompt everyday to inspire us. You can create FANFICTION, FANART, EDITS, PHOTO-MANIPS or any form of creation based on the prompt. You can participate in any day(s) or all days. But WAIT till the day of that prompt arrives, and that's when you will post it.

Why is BuckLena Day on July 27?

Thunderbolts was released around May 2nd and our discord opened May 23, 2025, we needed a near enough day to keep the hype up. Yas chose July 27 as at San Diego Comic Con on July 27, 2024 Sebastian Stan claimed Yelena was going to stand out in the movie, which caused many to speculate these two would have an important relationship and so this birthed many, many Bucklenas throughout the Marvel Fandom.

How do I add to the collection?

Simply input: "BucklenaWeek2026" into the "Post to Collections/Challenges" area.

This collection is moderated so please give the admin team some time to accept the fic. You can also shoot us an ask or discord message just to notify us.

Hi guys! It's been a while. Apologies, life got in the way as it tends to do. But we move forward. It's about 7 months to Doomsday, but more importantly about 2 months to BuckLena Day, which is July 27. And we do plan on hosting the 2nd annual BuckLena Week!

Please stay tuned for the weekend. We are so excited to share our prompts.

In the meantime, one of our admins @voidenoire hosted a BuckLena Love Bash during this past Valentine's Day. We'll be providing links to the collection and the poster for that.

Hey everyone, BuckLena Weekend is fast approaching. It's starting this Friday, from September 19th to September 21st!

I'll rehighlight important information:

3 Days 1 Prompt

PROMPT: Writing Fanfiction based off Fanart! (also fan edits and comic panels). (Join the discord to see all BuckLena art compiled in one source!) On the other side, for the editors, artists, gif makers, manip makers out there you can create based off your favorite BuckLena fic. (here's an example of a fic edit: I, II from another fandom)

2 Easy and Simple rules

1. Make sure to credit the fanart/edit/creation your fic is inspired by and add a link to the original. (can be at the beginning or end notes) 2. All generative AI is strictly prohibited from the event.

This event was created to give back to the creators in the fandom. To show appreciation for what they have created. Inspiring each other within the fandom.

On the tumblr and/or discord, message us and link us to your work so we can promote it!

Make sure to use the hashtag #BucklenaWeekend wherever you post your creation.

BUCKLENA WEEKEND 2025

Greeting fellow BuckLena's! We're back and so excited to announce our next BuckLena event: Bucklena Weekend!

We will be celebrating from ***September 19th to September 21st. Mark your calendars!

How did this event come to be? Well we found out the talented @yucalorice and I shared the same birthday. If you don't know who @yucalorice is she is the most dedicated BuckLena artist. We are so grateful for the countless amount of artwork she's fed us. She has even been dubbed "BuckLena's Princess" due to her contribution in the fandom. Check out her twitter. And hi, I'm G (@gahdamnit), the creator of the BuckLena discord, co-runner of the BuckLena events, fic writer, occasional gif maker, and above all fic enthusiast! This event was created to give back to Yuca and the other creators in the fandom. To show appreciation for what they have created. Inspiring each other within the fandom. ***the weekend has changed by a week to accommodate admins personal life. Give us time to fix the poster.

So what makes this event different? It is a 3 day celebration rather then a week long one. And is centred around one prompt. Creating Fanfiction based off Visual Creations!
