Conclusion of BucklenaWeek2026
Hello bucklenas, that concludes our bucklenaweek2026! It is honestly so surreal that we completed our second bucklena week. Tbh I didn't know we would actually get to this point, worried the fandom would die. But I'm so grateful to you guys for being a a part of this community and keeping this ship afloat and alive. And I'm grateful to this event for challenging me as a writer and helping me to grow in that aspect.
There are some familiar names from last year but also newcomers who participated in this years ship week and to all of you I say: thank you so much for sharing your gift with us, taking the time to write your fics and be a part of this event. Thank you @toshiro-taichou, Mushycloud, SeoLovelyz, mourning12glory15, justlikeafolksongourlovewillbepassedon, littlebee07, howyoubrewing, Piyo_the_wr1ter, forkhandles and ThePeacefulTempest. Not only writing one fic, but pouring your hearts into multiple fics. It was incredible to see the diverse range of ideas you each came up with. I adore reading every version of bucklena from you guys, we create our multiverse of them falling in love again and again. To all the readers/cheerleaders, if you read their fics, please make sure to leave a comment, it's the least we can do.
But that's not actually the end of bucklenaweek. We still have late submissions!
Late submissions will run from July 28, 2026 to August 31, 2026. I'm excited to see what other fics will join this collection.
I know I have some fics im still cooking up. Some days have yet to be fulfilled (DAY 5 AHEM).
Lastly, so far I'm thinking of an editing event and another ship less-than-a week right before doomsday. Perhaps a christmas fic exchange too. Please look forward to these events!
