“(Y/N),” Your name was practically screamed, which caused the entire council to share annoyed looks, knowing fully well that your brother would be pounding on the doors any moment now.
“My apologies,” You rolled your (e/c) eyes, but a small smile found a place on your lips. Your older brother, Obi-Wan, was a highly respected Jedi always calm and collected. However, when it came to you his calm demeanor faded and was replaced with an irresponsible youngling much to the amusement of the other Jedi’s. “My brother seems to always get excited when I return from a mission.”
“True, that is, Young (Y/N). Always anxious for your return, he is.” Agreed your former Master with a slight chuckle, gesturing with his small wooden cane to the door to let you know that you were dismissed. “Thank you, Master Yoda.” You bowed your head in a respectful gesture to your superiors before exiting the room in search of your older brother.
Anakin watched his Master in concern from where he sat on the training rug, but said nothing, thinking it may, my be wise to question his master for once. He attempted to follow Obi-Wan’s instructions to mediate yet found it difficult with feeling his Master’s worry. Anakin attempted to block his Obi-Wan’s emotions out, allowing the force to lull him into a relaxed state. Suddenly a bright presence filled his mind that it seemed to overpower every other Jedi.
“(Y/N),” Obi-Wan shouted, sprinting out of the training room without another word. Anakin sighed and jumped up, following his Master down the hall.
“Master Obi-Wan,” Anakin called, chasing after him. His hand rested instinctively on his lightsaber preparing for a fight. “What is going on?”
He didn’t respond only quickened his pace when he noticed a girl around Anakin’s age exiting the council room. Obi-Wan sprinted to the girl, wrapping his arms around her smaller form.
“Obi-Wan,” You greeted, hugging your brother back tightly. It had been years since you had seen him last, you had been stationed in Naboo to protect a royal family from the separatists. You looked up, realizing that another Jedi watched you both curiously. You raised a brow, pulling away from your brother you said, “I’ve missed you and we must catch up, but I believe that introductions are needed first?”
“Right,” Obi-Wan chuckled, his cheeks red in embarrassment when he realized his Padawan was watching your exchange. “(Y/N), This is my Padawan, Anakin. Anakin, This is my sister, (Y/N).”
“Anakin? As in Anakin the chosen one?” You questioned, looking at him in surprise, which Anakin smirked, nodding his head. “You’re younger than I expected.”
“You’re shorter than I expected.” Anakin chuckled, mocking your words, which had your brother laughing as well.
“Not all of us can be giants like the both of you!” You huffed, glaring at the two with your arms crossed over your chest. Then something came over him like a wave crashing onto the sand, which caused him to fall backwards in shock. In moments, you and Obi-Wan were at his side. “Anakin, Are you okay?” You questioned, looking down at him with wide, worried eyes that made his heart flutter.
