Sukuna’s little nephew, Yuji, likes to overshare :)
On days like today, you often went to the park to enjoy the solitude, to read among the trees and take in the peace and quiet.
As an admirer of the beautiful green trees that thrived with the arrival of Spring, you decided to pull your phone out and take a couple of pictures, when suddenly, you felt something tug on your left pants leg.
You looked down, now staring into the blinking brown eyes of a pink-haired child. “Hi there. Are you okay?”
“Uh huh,” he nodded.
“Where are your parents?”
“Gone. My uncle’s here.” The boy pointed towards a man — a buff, tattooed one — who chatted on the phone a short distance away. “He says . . . he said that you’re pwetty.”
“Oh,” your eyebrows raised in surprise. “Well, um, tell him I said-”
“When do you come home with us?”
“Hm?” Confused, you tilted your head a little.
The little boy matched your head tilt with one of his own. “I asked ‘cause my uncle said he- that he’d take you home with him. When I’m home, I watch T.V.! I live with my uncle cause-because my parents are gone. Will you come home with us soon?”
The stunned silence didn’t last long, because, soon enough, the man who wanted to take you home was making his way over.
“Yuji!”
Yuji glanced back with a guilt-free smile.
“Yuji, what the hell are you doing?” The man gently grabbed the small child by his hoodie. “Sorry, lady.”
Looking up at his uncle, the clueless little boy went on, on, and on. “I just ask when she coming home with us. Because you said you wanted to-”
He was cut off by the man suddenly lifting him up. “Just for that, brat, your lunch has changed from dino nuggets to broccoli. No cheese.”
“But I didn’t do anything! Miss? Can you give me the dino nuggets when we go home? I’ll let you play with my twansformer toys!” The boy kicked, pouted, and gave his uncle hell as he tried to toss him over his shoulder.
“She doesn’t wanna play with your transformer toys, Yuji, and she isn’t coming home with us. God, you weren’t even supposed to hear that, you nosy little . . .” The man sighed in pure exhaustion, and, for the first time, found the courage to look you in the eye. “Sorry. I think he fell on his head a coupla times as a baby.”
“It’s alright. It’s funny,” you grinned.
“Can we get her ish cweam?” Yuji said, now using his uncle’s upper body like a jungle gym as he turned himself over to sit on his shoulder.
“Ice cream,” the man corrected.
Yuji frowned in frustration, chubby cheeks poking out, and he tried again. “Ice cweam.”
“Close enough.”
With a grin, Yuji did what he did best. Overshared. “You said that she’s super, super, duper hot, so I think that ice cweam will- because it’s cold, the ice cweam will cool her down.”
“Yeah, we’re leaving.”
The man turned away from you just as you started to giggle.
“Wait,” you called out, letting your laughter die down a bit. “I do like ice cream.”
ꕥ you're exhausted and can't wait to get home, and more than that, your husband awaits for you in your shared abode. ready to celebrate in silence another week survived. (fluff, or at least, my attempt at it)

in a comfortably small and domestic apartment room, sits kento. his hair slightly damp from the shower he just took, sitting on the couch in his sleeping wear. his weary hazel eyes glaze over a small novel, the television plays some cheesy news sponsored drama at a low volume.
with the tea brewed that he made for himself just now still steaming hot sitting on the coffee table.
a soothing and muffled atmosphere enough to soothe anyone to relax and sleep in a matter of minutes. the soft commotion along with being covered in even softer clothes only made the moments stretch out.
a perfect evening.
almost perfect. very close to it. and that's because it's not the evening. it's nearly eight o'clock at night, and though yes, the blonde hair man's troubles that day had been more or less washed away by the suds of his shampoo during his shower. he's still feeling that his heart rate has that small spike due impatient waiting.
his husband.
his dear spouse hasn't come yet. and it's troubling him.
all he wants right now is his endearing lover next to him, preferably clinging to him. he wanted to hear about his day, his troubles, accomplishments, what he had ate for lunch, how much he missed him…
because you see, for when you're a busy man, all the little things count just as much. and his arms are aching at the hollow space where his beautiful partner should reside.
the concentration on the words on the pages he reads shakes and eventually shatters as the clock ticks the time by, he grows restless. he had placed his phone next to your mug, he had brewed you your favorite warm drink, those reusable cup covers used to keep your drinks warm sat on top of it because you were taking longer than he'd expected.
after another agonizing minute of staring at the same line of text, nanami caved and reached for his phone. maybe you had messaged him and he just didn't see it, though he knows that he's edited his settings so he'd be able to be notified about anything and everything related to you.
so he knows that if you had sent him something, he would see it. but still, he knew that you often did overtime, but the trains should be on time tonight regardless, right?
his fingers are moving with intent as he swipes to the app, but before he can even check your line, the door opens with a familiar click.
your tie feels like a rope around your neck, the train ride home was somehow more insufferable than usual. despite it being a bit past rush hour, the train was still packed with people, and your phone had died right after you went past the ticket gate, rendering you phone-less as you walked from the station back home.
the soles of your feet burn and pulse with each painful step, your breath shown in puffs of soft smoke from your lips as you staggered your way up the stairs to your long awaited home.
you could feel life being softly injected back into your exhausted body with a single breath inside of your cozy home. you were so tired you couldn't even mumble a greeting to signify that you had arrived.
but honestly, you really didn't have to, for as soon as you shed your coat and looped it on a clothes hanger, nanami was right at your side to put it away, you could barely let out a sound before he presses a kiss on your temple.
"welcome home love," he greets you with a soft tone, whatever grating events that may have unfolded during his day was capsized by a single sight of you coming home.
and as he pulls away, he takes in how you look after a long day. and despite your visibly fluorescent light burnt cheeks with eyes that seem a bit more sunken than before, he still looks at you with that look of love.
because despite you looking like you're a single yawn away from passing out, it's only a result of your hard work. (Though he has proposed you quit your job, shhh.) he smiles warmly at you as he lightly drags you away and setting you to sit down on the couch.
your blinks are slow as he hands you your warmed drink, you're barely able to even register how rushed your husband was acting. he was just that eager to get you all comfortable. you let out a stifled laugh as he loops his bigger arms around you. the warmth he brought wasn't unwelcome, for you equally just sunk into his embrace.
short and soft hair tickling your cheek as he breathes in your scent like he hadn't breathed well for a good while, his hands stay secure on your body, holding you tightly with nothing on his mind except for you.
a soft smile graces your worn out face, the feeling cannot be more mutual. it was a saturday night and you couldn't feel even more hammered even if you tried, and you wanted nothing more than to be under the covers with your love.
taking slow sips and letting the calmness sink in, you could feel your insides warm up. and as a moment passes, you barely pay attention to whatever is going on the television screen, simply shifting your limps to be more entangled with your spouse.
kento closed his eyes as he had his chin against your shoulder, helping you undo your tie quietly. and as soon as the skin of your neck is open for him he presses faint kisses that fluster you despite how familiar you are with him.
silence burrows the two of you like spring critters in the midst of hibernation, the tv is turned off in favor of soft breathing and steady heart beats. you nearly fall asleep on the spot but kento knew that you would much rather sleep in the morning, so instead he whispers in your ear to stay awake.
the feeling of his breath grazing your ear admittedly made your flustered enough to stay awake.
and to entertain you long enough to stay awake, he asks you about your day in that gravelly voice of his, and with what's left of your energy you mumble out short answers as he picks you up and sends you to the bathroom.
abbreviated tales of your day continue after you've been fully situated for bed, though your sentences have been reduced to names and verbs, that familiar tired rasp of your voice and heavy look in your eyes tells him everything.
by the time the covers are over your shoulders, words can't be formed and thoughts won't even fly by, the lights are shut off, the two of you pressed up against each other in quiet and utter appreciation.
your face buried into the nape of his neck, arms wrapped around his bigger torso, you hug him like a tense koala. the furrow in your brow eases when your lover rubs your bicep, you fall into dreamland almost immediately.
your husband notices how quickly you've dozed off and makes no more effort to try and stir you awake for he knows how exhausted you are.
he's heard of your numerous incompetent or simply annoying coworkers, the amount of assignments from heads you get within a week, and how you deal with them would lead him to a tangent on how you undermine your efforts too easily.
nonetheless, tonight concludes another week survived, and you have come home to him safe and sound, and even if you're conked out. that's all kento could really ask for.
"good night love." and he ends the week by pressing a final kiss on your forehead.

cw for negative weight talk/ weight gain
Everybody gains weight during the holidays, you think, tracing your figure in the mirror. Though it's not strictly holiday season yet, it's edging toward the end of the year. Maybe my new year's resolution should be losing a few pounds.
There's a thunk of the bedroom window being yanked open and footsteps across the floor. You tense until your hear Peter panting for breath, likely having swung to you at high speed, or fresh from a fight with an usurped criminal.
You rush back into your t-shirt, knowing exactly what path he'll walk. He barrels into the bathroom, sees you at the mirror and smiles so wide his cheeks look fit to burst. "Hey," he says, peeling the suit off and exposing his boxers to you without shame, "hey hey hey. Can I persuade you in with me?" He nods toward the shower.
"Not this time, Pete."
"Too bad," he laments.
You look away as he strips out of his underwear. The shower turns on and he takes you by the hips to move you out of his way with a murmured apology, near lost to the drum of the spray. Peter has moments where he doesn't know his own strength, but the majority of the time he treats you like you're something precious.
"Stay in here!" he demands as he pulls the curtain shut.
"I'm not going anywhere." You close the toilet and sit on the lid. "Tough day protecting the people?"
"Apart from tripping into a deceptively large pothole, it was fine. Why won't you come in here with me? I wanna rub your shoulders."
"You want me to wash your hair."
"Exactly. So get naked and get in here. Don't make me beg."
You really don't want to, and you're not going to, but it's not a big problem. Peter doesn't truly mind, he just loves you. "What do you mean, deceptively big? Like, knee height? Higher?"
"Mid thigh, I'd say. The people of New York are never gonna let me live it down. One guy was recording me and said he was gonna put it on YouTube for the ad money."
"Anything else?"
He gives you the rundown, describing what perps he faced and an older man he helped use an ATM machine. You hum distractedly, pinching at the fat where it spreads on your thigh, sitting down as you.
He sticks his face through the curtain gap, hair slicked to his cheeks. "What're you doing?"
"You told me to stay, so I'm staying."
He's nervous for a split second, glancing back into the shower as though there's an answer there waiting for him before angling himself toward you fully, his naked chest dripping and shining in the bathroom light. "Okay, fine, we need to talk about something. But I want you to know that you forced my hand here. Okay?"
"Okay." You nibble the inside of your lip, used to his theatrics. "What have I done?"
"It's not something you've done. It's something you are. I can't even say it. I," —he pulls the curtain in front of his face, moves it aside again– "just need to tell you. Lately it's like you don't even realise how beautiful you are and I'm tired of it. You're radiant. Like, glowing."
Your recent internal debate must show on your face, that doubt, because he gives you a steadying smile. "Really, really beautiful," he says more seriously.
It's easy to smile at him. "Thank you, Pete." You scoop his suit off of the floor. "I'll go scrub the tetanus out of this in the kitchen sink."
"Wait–"
He can't just get out with suds in his hair, giving you the perfect escape plan. You have ten minutes to yourself filling the sink with soapy water and steeping the fabric before he's out of the bedroom in pyjamas, trousers tucked into his socks and hair damp from ferocious towel scrubbing. "You're such a– such a– thing," he decides. "I'm telling you you're beautiful and you walk off so you don't have to hear it? What's wrong with you?" His voice slips into a kinder register. "You do know you're pretty, right? I'm not just saying it to say it."
"I'm just feeling icky," you confide.
"About what?"
You want to tell him, you find. "You know how I've gained weight?"
He doesn't need any more explanation. Peter knows you've gained weight, you've mentioned it to him, and it's visual, and he can likely tell whenever he decides to flex his strength. "What, and you think that makes you less pretty?" He puts a damp hand behind your neck to bring you forward. "Seriously?"
"Yeah, a little."
He kisses you. His nose bumps your nose, his lips crushed to your as he holds you in place. Despite this, it isn't an overly rough connection. It's definitely not shy. "You're beautiful," he says in the space between your lips.
"It doesn't suit me–"
"It does. It really fucking suits you. Have you seen yourself? You couldn't look better."
"Even when I was thinner?"
"You look just as perfect then as you did now." His intensity fades and he encourages you back enough to see your face, his thumb rubbing a short line into your neck. His brows are furrowed, dark eyes darker for it. "Weight isn't a factor."
"No, but you have to say that."
"I don't. Not really. I'm sure there are a thousand shitty guys who'd tell you something different, but I'm not– I love you, the whole you. I like you like this." He grins. "Which should be obvious."
You tsk at him, to his delight, his laughter boyish as he buries his face in your neck with a hug, kissing a messy circle up and into the soft line of your jaw. You trap him there without thinking, chin hooked down, squirming as he blows hot air into your skin.
"I've been putting it on too," he says. "It's happy weight."
"It's not happy weight for you, Pete, it's just more muscle."
"It makes you happy, doesn't it?" he jokes, smiling and kissing and hugging you all at once. "Just like it does on you for me."
