I think it’s important to note that when lydia is hallucinating her hair looks too nice like it’s been curled and parted to the side and when she’s not hallucinating (or when we as an audience are seeing her on the outside… if that makes sense?) her hair looks unwashed, messy, and parted down the middle. I think that’s a way for us as an audience to differentiate what’s going on in lydia’s head and what’s going on around her in real time. And now i’m wondering if that last picture of holland and dylan was a bts picture of them filming a scene in which lydia hallucinates stiles. *fingers crossed*

Maybe i’m overthinking this, but I just think it would be really random and out of place for lydia to have such a nice hair style during certain EH scenes.
