My name is Lydia, and I am a recent college graduate from Wisconsin. I'll be your guide for experiencing theatrical productions on a budget. Currently, I am most often attending nationally touring productions, regional productions, and community theatre.

i really hope that the hamilton pro-shot will encourage other musicals to do something similar because it might be expensive to do but it brings a whole new audience, and people would be more likely to go to the theatre to watch it!! bootlegs got be more chill to broadway, imagine what could happen if musicals released pro shots,,,, i know it’s pretty controversial but the theatre industry is very flawed and classist,, lots of people can’t afford to go to the theatre so more pro shots would allow people to enjoy the art in a slightly different way

Hamilton : An American Musical was instrumental in igniting a new wave of musical appreciation and modern musicals that sparked a generation's interest in history while also giving recognition and roles to incredible Actors and Actresses of color and is a musical masterpiece

Rapunzel from Into The Woods and Johanna from Sweeney Todd are the same character and essentially interchangeable, don’t @ me, you know I’m right. In fact I’ll add Cosette into the mix. Broadway in the 80’s had one (1) role for sopranos, and it was Ingenue Who Is Locked Away By Someone Who Is Not Her Biological Parent And Falls In Love With The First Dumbass Tenor Who Happens By And Also Her Mother Is Dead.
