A fanworks exchange for Buffy, Angel, and all Buffy-adjacent fandoms: the original movie, the books, comics. If it's Buffy, it's in. Crossovers too! Icon by sweet-lyri @ LJ.
The collection is live! All works have been revealed. Enjoy your Buffy!
If your gift doesn't include a ship you requested or contains a DNW mentioned in your signup, please send a message to [email protected] with your AO3 name and a description of what happened.
Creators will be revealed two days from now, on November 23 at 1 AM AST. Here's a time zone converter so that you can see when that is in your time zone.
If you want to treat anyone with an extra gift, or treat the collection, there's still time!
There is one pinch hit. If you can take this assignment, let me know via the mod email at [email protected], a logged-in ask that I can answer privately, a message through Tumblr’s chat function, or a comment on this Dreamwidth post. Comments on that post will be screened.

A little less than an hour left to post! The deadline is at 11:59 PM AST. Here is a time zone converter and a countdown.
The collection is open for posting; you should be able to post your assignment by clicking "fulfill" on your assignment page, which will take you to a posting form with both the collection and your recipient automatically added to their respective fields. You can also just hit "post to collection," though in that case you would have to add your recipient's name. This is also how you can post treats for people!
The minimum requirements to fulfill an assignment are 100 words of a complete story, or a complete sketch on unlined paper, focusing on the fandom and character/ship requested, which does not include a DNW.
If you didn’t offer anything your recipient requested, or have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to me privately, via the mod email at [email protected], a logged-in ask that I can answer privately, a message through Tumblr’s chat function, or a comment on this Dreamwidth post. Comments on that post will be screened.
Signups are closed, and assignments have been sent! You should be able to see it in your Assignments page on AO3, and also on the My Assignment page if you go to the collection. If you have AO3 emails enabled, it should appear in your inbox as well.
Assignments are due on November 19 at 11:59 PM AST. Here is a countdown to when assignments are due.
Your assignment will show all of your recipient's requests, but you don't have to create for them all. You can create for what you matched to, or something else they requested if it strikes your fancy.

Treating
Treats are works you were not assigned to create. If you would like to give another gift in addition to your assignment, or if you didn't sign up but would still like to create for this exchange, you are welcome to do so! Treats have no minimum requirements except that they be complete and respect the requests of the recipient. If you're giving it to a specific participant, make sure to match it to one of their requests and avoid their DNWs. If you want to write something no one requested, you can still post it to the collection with no recipient, as a treat for the exchange as a whole.

That includes crossovers. You may choose any of these fandoms to create for, as long as the participant you intend to give it to requested it.
There will be a nominations period, where you can nominate the fandoms you’d like to see, with characters and/or ships. You will have the option to nominate up to ten fandoms, with ten slots per fandom. Characters may be nominated as “Character & None,” for example “Buffy Summers & None.” Platonic ships are allowed; you may use & instead of / when you nominate them. Rule 63 versions of characters (and ships they’re in) can be nominated under the fandoms their original selves are from, as “Rule 63 [Character Name]”. Crossovers may be nominated as Other Fandom/Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV) (or whatever Buffy fandom you want the other fandom crossed with.)
Signups will involve choosing at least one fandom and at least one character or ship. You may list prompts or things you like in the box labeled “optional details,” and no more than three DNWs. “DNWs” is an acronym for “do not wants,” things you don’t want to receive in a gift.
Assignments will involve being matched to a recipient with at least one combination of a requested fandom and ship/character that you offered. Everyone must match to at least one request, or their signup will be deleted. Pinch hits, requests with no assigned creators, will be posted on the comm. They can be claimed there, or via emailing the mod at [email protected], or any other way through which you can privately contact the mod. I will do my best to make sure everyone has a gift.
Please don’t reveal anything about what you’re creating or who you’re creating it for in public! This exchange will have a short period of anonymity before creators are revealed.

If you are unable to offer anything else or if there is no response an hour after the message was sent, I'm afraid your signup will have to be deleted.
