Kaneki sees Hide inside his mind. On seeing him, he falls to the ground and sobs uncontrollably.

Hide looks up at the sky while talking to Kaneki.

Hide : …Keep living.

Kaneki: Live?

Hide: Kaneki, didn’t I tell you? I wanted to put my life at stake (wanted to die) to save someone (in a cool way).

When Hide asked Kaneki to eat him, he wasn’t thinking of dying. He was thinking of both of them living together.

Kaneki becomes Shironeki

-Eto Side-

Eto goes to the Press room and has her revenge on Furuta. We see Furuta screaming with a distorted face.
