I don't understand why people on the sandrock subreddit are so obsessed with the idea of logan being a bad boy when the whole point of his character is that he's not a bad boy. Like if you're far enough into the game that you're able to marry/have kids with him then you're far enough into the game that you've finished his arc and should know that his bad boy persona was fake. The obvious answer is that reddit is braindead but I still wonder about it
Easy. The subreddit is stupid and regurgitates the same 7 opinions over and over that feel like they only got the sparknotes version of the game. They want a "mafia boss x innocent girl" type romance so bad they convince themselves that's what they get. They simply do not give a single fuck about any deeper writing or character nuance at all. They dont wanna actually engage with the source material, they want something they can get off to, thus the butchering of characters.
Other notable shit that pisses me off includes:
Fang is broken and needs the player to fix him (pisses me off as a childhood DV survivor).
Arvio is a stalker.
Amirah is vain and full of herself.
Justice is stupid.
Arvio throwing a surprise party is predatory behavior but Logan pulling you into a kiss without your consent is a-ok.
Fang is incapable of standing up for himself or functioning like a grown ass man in any way because hes so helpless and broken.
That one thread everyone was fantasizing about Arvio getting a prison beatdown.
If you like playing Cheery Conspiracy in any way you should go to hell.
Arvio is an incel.
Burgess is malicious.

A photo of Vitrielle on one of her family's trips back to Highwind. Looks like she's been staring at the Eufala Desert Shoreline.
Whenever you take the sea route between Highwind and Walnut Groove you'd notice the shift in greenery in the distance, the fields deep green grass turning into nothing more than grains of sand that stretched far and wide. The Eufala was massive and the horizon never revealed anything to those who went by sea.
Vitri always wished she'd see something new every time she boarded her father's boat, for hours she would keep her eyes on the shoreline with her chin rested on the hardwood railing.
'Do the winds of the sea reach the ends of the desert? Would she able to see the sea if she ever reached the desert's secret?'
If it weren't for her mother's hands fixing her hair the little girl would have forgotten she was even on the ship's floorboards, if she were to try and get closer she'd fall to the deep sea. Her eyes glance up to her mother, noticing she was also staring at the sandy dunes.
"The Eufala is beautiful, isn't it dear?"
The young lady was confused, she didn't know if she could even call such a sight beautiful or ugly when there was nothing there.
"There isn't anything beautiful there mama."
"Maybe not, but you've been staring like it is. You do the same with the glass in my workshop."
Is that what that is? The curiosity she gets from seeing her mother's work is the same as the feeling she gets when staring at the golden shoreline. The silence between the two broken off by her mother once more.
"There's a city there, you know. I've passed by a couple of times before your father sailed for me."
"There is?!"
Vitri's head flung back to stare up at her mother with that sparkling curious look her mother described prior, earning a chuckle from the lady.
"Perhaps one day I'll take you to see it, that's if we get your father to let us take the land route instead."
"But that's impossible!!"
Vitri pouts knowing how her father is about taking the boat for their trips, but perhaps one day she'll get the chance to see it for herself. For now, she'll stay at her spot wondering what else could be out there.
