Lately, I've had a thought, but I'm having a hard time trying to articulate it. I find myself envisioning the tragedy of Brigitte being like. What if your soulmate was ruining you and your life, and you had to escape her, but in escaping her, you have doomed yourself to die. They are soulmates, one soul in two bodies even, tangled together in such a mess they could never be truly happy or whole without each other, but Ginger was so lost in her spiral and control/abuse of Brigitte that she could never have let their relationship develop in any proper way. Brigitte could never have a happy ending without Ginger, but as their relationship was there was no happy ending with her either. The only actual happy ending that exists for them is one where they're able to accept and support each other (like in ginger snaps 3)

#i was very unsure on my opinion of the ending of unleashed but lately im kinda vibing with it. the idea that maybe brigitte was condemned to #a fate worse than death if she didnt die with her sister feels very tragic to me.#fitzcest #ginger snaps #idk if this makes sense lol im tired #ill come back to reword this if i can figure out a better way to say it
