S8 apparently: Dany just doesn’t understand the culture of Westeros. It’s foreign to her.

Me: So a silver haired white girl was able to make it in a country that was mainly various shades of brown with different religions and languages and ruling systems but it’s utterly daunting to navigate all of the complexities of the Medieval Midwest? Westeros is 6/7 white and everyone speaks the common tongue. They’re part of a monarch system which her ancestors were the top tier of for 3 centuries.

By s1 she was best friends with a Northerner. By s3 she had two Westerosi Knights as her Queensguard. By s5 she had Tyrion Lannister & Varys on her Small Council. By s7 the Iron Islands, Dorne, Highgarden, & the King of the North were pledged to her. But I’m supposed to believe Winterfell was her undoing?

She started out as an orphaned refugee and became Queen of most of Essos. She started out mocked for her alleged dragon blood and became the Mother of Dragons. She started out as a sex slave and became the Breaker of Chains. She started out as a Dothraki man’s child bride and became the Khal of Khals. She started out as a discarded little princess and became worshipped as a fire goddess.
