Can I talk about one of my favorite moments from the first Pantheon episode even though it might sound kinda silly?

It's when Apo took Shelby and Drift over to the side to have "girl talk" (or words similarly enough), and Owen follows them to listen, and they say his name in that tone, and his response was "but you said I was- you said I was." Not only is that just a good moment because of the whole "Owen. Point. Become a woman" and it's just kind of a funny thing that happened. But it's one of my favorites and it's a bit special because of her hesitation. Let me explain. To me, the hesitation could be seen as uncertainty, be that because of outing herself, or because of second guessing and conflicting feelings about himself. Now it could also be seen as a stutter of sorts, not a moment of being completely non verbal, but a start. Which, again, a personal interpretation, could be because she's a bit more quiet and sometimes reserved than some of the other champions, which is canon. Or that could also be, is not necessarily something related, but it could be, something someone who's neurodivergent does.

And as someone who is all of the above- under the trans umbrella, hesitates outing myself in front of most people, introverted, quiet, and neurodivergent- that just made me smile a bit is all.

@bugwhoflickers if I could steal your tags for a moment. Number one, you don't have to apologize, you're allowed to ramble, I like when people feel comfortable enough to ramble or infodump when dming me or interacting with my stuff in any regard. I would also like to say it was not my intention to make a new hc, meaning one where she stutters all the time. I just was pointing out a fact that this is something I do often. I don't have an all the time stutter, but I trip over my words and cut myself off and things as such quite often, especially if I'm anxious. Which is something I personally see she did in that moment. That being said, I have no problem at all with that being an hc, I like the fact of him being Time and struggling with that a whole lot. And I'm really glad this post resonated with you, with so many of you, actually.

it’s 3am so it’s time for Octo’s Bannerfall Doomed Siblings Ramblings :] (I’m so Normal about them)

Two birds on a wire with Katie being the bird that flies away is just so. So to me. Because she did, she left her past in Blue kingdom behind and ‘flew’ to Red, with birds commonly representing freedom, which she found there. Freedom to be herself, to be her own person. The freedom that gave her the opportunity to become brave, to become strong, to refuse that final deal from the Creaking King.

Yet Nom couldn’t do the same. Couldn’t let go of his past like the bird on wire. Clinging to it with bloodstained and guilty fingers that would hurt to pry away from it, now that he’s held onto it for so long, that it defines him. As an oathbreaker, as a traitor, as a murderer, as a monster. As what pushed him to take the resin, after betraying 4C because he told Katie about his past. Because that is what he is, according to his past. A man who will do whatever it takes to do what, in his mind, is the right thing. Kill 15 to save an innocent person. Eat the resin and face the consequences to ensure he’s strong enough to protect his family.

Katie is free, flying away. Nom is imprisoned by his past, refusing to let go because that’s all he knows himself to be.

#this analysis of them and the art i made about their respective weapons go hand in hand i think #it’s the way they were both trying to escape from what they were known as. trying to escape from their own perception of themselves.#except they put themselves in these boxes. their success in that regard was really only up to them #idk. i’m normal about them

#as someone who has a stutter irl i cannot stand when people purposely try to act it as its so so obvious its fake #like. i can’t fake it realistically and i experience it firsthand #BUT i love headcanoning characters as having stutters . so this gets big checkmark from me #theres something fun to be said on the topic of repeating a sentence/word/sound over and over as someone who rewinds time. fun fun stuff.#very fitting for her. sorry op im rambling. it was a fun moment i liked it lots 👍👍👍#had not considered stuttering. new headcanon unlocked

this one is so old now (to me) but i just thought about it and i’m kinda surprised that no one ever pointed out the little reflections in the prince’s wing fragments…. like im 100% sure they were noticed but.

there’s frogue, cherri’s eye (crying), the red kingdom crown, a sword, and apo’s spear if anyone wants to do a scavenger hunt. either they were so obvious that no one said anything or no one cared LMAO
