sedating you at a sleep over, peeling the skin of your calf back, and braiding three tendons together while giggling and talking about a cute boy I met. sealing it all back up when I'm done and pretending to have fallen asleep the same time you did. you wake up still numb but I can clearly see the braid outline under your skin and i just don't say anything about it. and you dont notice either since youre still loopy. your mother takes us to dennys. i order the grand slam, say nothing in the time it takes to be made, take a single bite when it arrives, and politely excuse myself to go to the bathroom where you find me minutes later having hanged myself with a belt
