We were told his name was Mr. Ray. He had a quick chat with Emily and me, asking 'bout what two Georgia girls/Bulldogs were doing on roll tide turf, and we just said Spring Break. Mr. Ray finished his meal and slid what I assumed was a note under my phone and told us not to get drunk. Turns out that note was a $100 bill. Which... Is still technically a note but not the kind I was expecting. When he left our waitresses informed Emily and me our meal was taken care of and that, "Mr. Ray comes in everyday and has never paid for anyone before." No idea what inspired him today, but we were touched. So we left Mr. Ray a note of our own. To all of y'all who shrug people off when they're just trying to have a quick chat, don't.
