this sounds like something that would resonate with ppl who either donāt belong to a culture that has spiritual and sacred ties to meat and meat consumption, ppl who arenāt aware of that fact, or ppl who donāt care

let me go back to touch on this. as a message to my feed, not so much as a response to OP; reality is a far better teacher than i.
the Western World is a fucking k-hole. not everyone has the same morals as you. that doesnāt mean their morals are inherently wrong. and you can say that they are and believe it, and that still wouldnāt make you inherently right just because your heartstrings pull when you see something that you perceive as upsetting.
the West and its inhabitants historically have a fantastically wicked pattern of forcing their citizens AND others to conform to their views of morality. we have seen it over and over again. in more recent history, the citizens have seemed to almost do the job better than the governmental bodies in place over them. i would ask them if they are not tired, but frankly i do not care. other parts of the world are on different times, have different mindsets and attitudes. what some may call barbaric and primitive is a way of life for others. cry about it. iām sure the English and Spanish missionaries who were abusing children and women and still praying to God that night also thought their morals were aligned; iām guessing you would disagree with them.
i think youāll find that as you get older, the world will (one way or another) reveal this reality to you. youāll be lucky if itās gently delivered.
