I shouldn’t get involved in this, but…

I like RWBY so I guess I care. No matter what happens with Blake – if BlackSun becomes canon, if Bumbleby does instead, if NEITHER do – y'all need to chill the fuck out about it. Blake’s romantic status is not the main goal or plot of this show, AND she’s literally

just an animated character on your screens.

So, some things to remember:

RT doesn’t owe you jack shit. They have created content that, chances are, you watch for free.

Be kind. Don’t be a toddler if you don’t get your way, and if the ship you support does become canon, take the high road.

I know we all care about Blake as a character. No matter who you ship her with, if you ship her with anyone at all, what’s important is that, if the writers place her in a relationship, it should be healthy, loving, and nurturing.

If you disagree with the writers’ decision, don’t viciously attack them. Be civil. They’re trying to tell a certain story, and they know how they want to do that.

Don’t mistake anonymity for power. You are interacting with real people on the internet; just because they disagree with you does NOT mean you get to act like animals towards one another.
