Been MIA on this platform for a bit so I figured I should post an update of some form even if I don’t have art to share right now.

I’ve been super burnt out from work and losing my whole team and adjusting to that. And now being required to learn coding (literally not a part of my job previously and I only have some minor experience with SQL, which is decidedly not the same thing) and having to use AI to do so. And it’s not like I have a choice. It’s use it or lose my job. I’m not in a position to weigh my ethical beliefs over survival. But at least it’s not like image generation I guess (and other things we tell ourselves to feel better).

It’s frustrating and I’m tired. And it’s making it hard to work on any hobbies which just makes me feel worse. I am trying to work on a tiktok art video thing. Hopefully I find the energy to really put some effort into it this week.

That said, I was able to see My Chemical Romance over the weekend. I’ve been wanting to since I first heard The Black Parade album in middle school so this tour is a dream come true for me. I cried during like 5 different songs, had no clue what was going on since I refused to look up anything about the tour beforehand as to experience it as purely as possible. It’s been fun to learn about all of the lore after the show.

Uh that’s all I’ve got I think.
