The best dating advice I could ever give is:

If someone thinks you're hot the first thing out of your mouth, on an app DOES NOT MATTER. You can literally say "Hello, I'm ___ nice to meet you." If they think you're hot they will keep talking to you. If they do not, it doesn't matter what you say.

Why is this good advice? Incels say you should looksmax so that everyone thinks you're hot, but that's the stupidest advice ever. Women are constantly asked about who they think is hot by RESEARCHERS and the answer is the same every time: It depends. Men tend to cluster around the same type of women a bit more, but I'd argue that it depends for them too.

The reality is that someone, somewhere will find you hot, without any changes to your looks or personality.

Your goal isn't to craft the perfect message, make the perfect profile, wear the perfect clothes, do pushups, get surgery. If you do that you'll actually become MORE insecure because you're constantly obsessing about how awful you look. And that will make it harder to find love because you will be more hesitant to be yourself in public around people who would like that.

If you do the above, what you're actually doing is trying to fend off rejection, instead of chasing success. Because you can't date everyone. It's not physically possible. And ironically, no matter how much work you do on yourself, TONS of people still won't like you, not because you failed, but because they just like different things. Instead of seeing that for what it is, the world being a big and diverse place, you will internalize it as a personal failure and you'll be like that weird monk in The Davinci code who beats himself with a mace in private because he was a bad bad boy.

Your goal is to literally just go out into the world, be proud of who you are, and do stuff you like. You will run into someone who likes the same things and likes you and thinks you're hot. And... if you're okay with being rejected by a lot of people romantically, you just see it as you're not their cup of tea, you will be proud of yourself, outgoing, and you'll find someone who is like "holy shit where have you been my whole life."

And you didn't do one situp. You didn't learn a new makeup routine. You didn't buy a cool car.

You just said, hey maybe I am actually hot and cool. Maybe people do like me. Maybe I'm fine the way I am.

And someone else out there said, no you're not just fine, you're amazing I want to date you.

This is how fascism is in real life. Love & sunshine. Have manipulation tactics to bring new vulnerable people in. Have a common enemy so the cult focuses on the enemy rather than the horrible thing the cult does. Have everyone pretend to be extremely nice. Deal with all conflict very harshly, often with prison, forced labor or death. The punishment through labor and death fuels the economy.

There's also a spectrum of belief. When you're newly inducted you're often learning the loving side of things. As you go farther and farther you start to learn more about enforcing the rules and standing in line. As you get into positions of power you start to outwardly say crazy things and believe crazy things that enforce the norms, while only showing little pieces of it to the new or less invested folks.

In the real world we have christo-fascism. Christ is love. Breaking Christs rules will send you to hell. Who is doing that? Immigrants! Kill the immigrants so the rest of us can be sage. Meanwhile costs for the "good ones" still go up while they work more, but they don't complain because they're focused on immigrants they have never met. There are many people in christo-fascist states who swear up and down they aren't racist, they're just faithful servants of God who want a safe community. As you go higher up the chain to people in positions of power, they may actively say behind closed doors that they actively hate ____ people, and then when they get on stage to talk to folks they wrap that rhetoric up in "Christ's love" or the "Will of the Country." For example, if you hate Mexicans. Instead of saying "I the president, hate all Mexicans. I want to round them up and kill them." You say "God preaches peace. Violent gangs are flooding across our borders from the South. We need our proud and faithful law enforcement to take care of them so our churchgoers can be safe." The fascists are grouping together. We should too. The first thing you can do to fight fascism is deliver food for free.

ALL GRIMDARK UNIVERSES ARE NAZI PROPAGANDA

First of, apologies for clickbaiting you, but I do mostly think this.

Grimdark Scifi & Nazi Propaganda are very similar in some key aspects that you should absolutely know.

Grimdark Universes are beset by war. War is a fundamental constant. Because of that people need to fight. In order to fight, you need: controlled economies, rulers (supreme leader), nationalism (NAzi), a common enemy (immigrants), and some ideology to base that around (weaponized religion, us v them, a way of life that justifies terror and torture.)

Warhammer 40k is really interesting. The concept of chaos gods fueled by human emotion, how armies can conscript galaxy sized militaries, detective work in a world of near infinite size and information, futuristic warfare, morals and codes. It's all fascinating but...

It always ends in "we needed to wipe an entire city off of the map because _____". Which you have to justify by saying "It was only the enemy we killed." Which you have to justify by saying "They are our enemy because ____." Now you'd say wait that's pretty close to real life, and yes it can be but there's one key difference between the grimdark world and the real world.

There are no realistic alliances. There's no art. No music. No culture. And that is TOTALLY what fascism in the real world needs as well.

In 40k there's no scene where people relax and go see a movie and think about that in their downtime. There's no scene where the arts and culture department is running out of funding because people just aren't into bauhaus era comedy any more and they need to change what kind of art they're producing so more people show up.

The only art is like yeah this cool alpha male war nerd who is cloned from the balls of a skeleton 4 million years ago writes poetry about blowing the arms off of Xenos (xenophobe?) while he's not lifting weights and oiling guns.
