when y/n gets invited to be a guest on smosh mouth, she meets angela giarratana and immediately falls in love.
Y/n didn't expect having to do press on a mildly hot day in July. She was finally home, in her apartment after filming the final season of Yellowjackets. She was tired and honesty couldn't be fucked to do a podcast right now.
But here she was.
On her way to do a podcast with an old acquaintance and his youtube platform.
Y/N wouldn't call herself an online person, she watched video essays about the lore behind preachers daughter or maybe watched her friends projects. She could assure you that walking through the doors of the Smosh studio she did not expect to fall in love.

"Hey guys, welcome to Smosh Mouth. I'm Shayne Topp."
"And I'm Amanda Leehan-Canto, today we have a very special guest Y/n Y/l."
Y/N smiled, "Hey guys."
She loved the set, orange curtains and all of the odd paintings surrounding her. She felt oddly comforted under the gaze of the lights and cameras.
She had met the co-hosts just before starting. Shayne had grown a lot since she last saw him, his hair was blonde now. She had noticed the wedding ring on his finger and wondered about who the lucky person was. Amanda on the other had was a gorgeous brunette, tall and very funny. They both made the set feel like an actual conversation, different to the cold rooms she was normally in for press.
"How are you doing Y/n? How have things been?" Amanda asked politely.
"Great! I just wrapped up the final season of Yellowjackets, and honestly I am really emotional about it but I'm glad it got the ending it deserved. I'm on a break for a bit and then I have some big projects coming up soon!" She grinned.
"So, if you haven't guessed already, today we are talking movies and television!"

"To finish us off, I have a game for us to play." Shayne looked very excited as he pulled flashcards out from under his seat. They had just finished discussing the upcoming movie releases and their four favourite movies. "Based off looks, who do you think would do the best in the wilderness."
"Ok, show them too me."
First up was this curly haired man covered in tattoos, he looked like he was posing for a professional headshot.
"He looks like he would definitely have a Ben arc, that man is surviving for a while but he honestly looks too much like a vegan to eat flesh." Giggles abrupted from around the room.
"That's Anthony, he helped start the youtube channel." Amanda said through choaked out laughter.
"I am so sorry Anthony." Y/n was laughing along with them. If all press was like this maybe she would like the fame part of her job.
"Ok Ok, next." Shayne had finally recovered.
He showed her a card with the most breathtakingly, stunning woman on it. A cute bob and these deep brown eyes, dressed in all black, the photo brought out her features. She stared at it for a while.
"She is definitely having some arc like Lottie. She looks crazy." She realised that might of been the wrong thing to say. "Like crazy beautiful and kind of insane but like in a pretty way, you know."
Fuck Lesbainism.
Makes her say stupid shit.
"Y/n! Your not wrong though, Ange is insane." Amanda was once again laughing.
Ange.
"Pretty name."
"Angela is a beloved cast member."
"I'm sure she is." Fuck. Stop flirting with a picture.
"Well, that's all we have for today guys." Thank you Shayne. "Thank you so much for being here Y/n, is there anywhere people can find you."
"Season 4 of Yellowjackets airs in December and you can follow me on Y/n on all platforms. Thank you for having me."
"Of course, anytime. See you next monday everyone!"
