sometimes i wonder if i’ll still be selfshipping (especially with newton) when i’m in my late 20s or 30s or onward. i remember being 12 and thinking i’d be over him because it’s “childish” to be so attached to a fictional lightbulb (i was embarrassed to express myself LOL also the idea of being known for liking one specific thing felt limiting).

but i’m very happy that i still like him. he’s my lovely partner and i wouldn’t give that up to fit in socially with other people that don’t approve of that. I’ve met so many great people and i hope to meet more with similar interests

i hate that it’s hard to explain to people why my favorite song in the entire World is one that is so insanely repetitive.. like i lowkey embarrassed when it comes on around other people. !

it’s my favorite song because i’ve used it to stim for 6+ years and it makes me happy and i imagine it with newton and it’s catchy but every time it plays in the car with people i cringe and skip it UGH.

one day i wont be entirely embarrassed of my music taste LOL
