do you have any headcanons about how chuuya, dazai, and kunikida would confess their love to their s/o for the first time? thank you so much!
Chuuya is slow to realize he likes you, often mistaking these feelings for annoyance and irritation. But his face completely shows you how he feels. He gets flustered all too easily and tends to slip up on is words.
When he finally notices, he has small outbursts because he feels so lost and confused. Chuuya has never felt like this and hates how he can’t control his emotions. Whenever he’s around you, he tends to avoid eye contact. The thought of you knowing is just so embarrassing, too much for smol angry Chuuya to handle.
After a while he finally summons enough courage to tell you. He’ll go all out, renting out a fancy cruise restaurant just for you and him. If you’re horrified of such elegant (and expensive wowie) gestures, don’t worry. The exterior of this “date” may seem uptight, but in reality it’s just two of you having a good time. Chuuya’s quite into spoiling his s/o, and refuses to give you anything but a grand gesture. At the end of the night, when you’re both fulfilled and under the moonlight’s blessing, Chuuya confesses. There’s not an ounce of hesitation in his words, despite having been so nervous he couldn’t utter a single word when practicing.
Dazai realizes he’s in love with you as soon as the emotions set in. In a way, he’s thrilled. He’s always felt isolated and alone, but feeling love made him feel the slightest bit of human. You see his real smile more often, as though he is truly enjoying life for once.
He becomes way more touchy. And most of the time these gestures may seem casual, but he really just wants to have contact with you. Dazai also seems to tease you more often then usual, not because he thinks embarrasing you is fun (but he totally does lmao), but because he loves seeing all your facial expressions. He just finds them so cute and can’t help but admire them.
This man is literally unpredictable, he would choose the randomest time to confess. Like imagine, you guys are at the grocery store picking up a dessert for a party and you're mentally debating whether to get a chocolate pie or sugar cookies when Dazai gently rests his hands on your shoulders and turns you around; with shiny eyes, he professes his love for you. Or when you’re at work, chatting amongst the other agency members, and out of no where Dazai would begin to confess. With all these possiblites, I’d reccommend you watch your back when you’re around this boy.
Indenial precious baby. He can’t believe this happened so suddenly and angry it doesn’t follow his book of ideals. Once Kunikida realizes he’s in love, he can’t keep a conversation for crap and avoids you at all costs.
He’ll try to follow his book and ask you out on a date, but he gets completetly choked up and can’t utter a single word. It isn't until members of the agency (those lil sinners) force the two of you in a situation where you’re forced to communicate that actual progress is made.
In the situation mentioned above (leaving the details to you 😉), Kunikida gains the courage to tell you how much you mean to him. He’s surprised about how smoothly it came out, or that it even came out in the first place! When you return his feelings, he’s literally so happy I couldn't even begin to describe his reaction.
