I'm not sure what makes people think of this but why would you write about a character, someone might use for comfort, cheating on your oc, the reader, etc? Cheating is a serious issue and it gives those that have been through it a hard time with other people. It's not cute and it's not fun. Don't make any characters like this for your own entertainment, I'm begging you. I've been through this myself and you have no idea how much it sucks to be affected by it. Just have fun with those characters and don't make them bad.
If you want to give them some personality, make up hobbies for them or write a specific storyline. It's up to you. I'm just the one throwing the message out in the world.

Flustered flocks of seagulls ascend to the cloudless skies above in a riot of repeated warbles as the palm treesβ petioles sway like the distant waves to and fro, greeting the new season. With a perspiring glass of beverages boasting a seafoam green in each hand, Ruki set the drinks atop a whitewood rattan table reminiscent of the fine-grained sand beneath their feet, ice clanging against one another in promise of refreshing reprieve from the heat.
βItβs not often I can forgo the usual responsibilities and spend the whole day relaxing,β the Vampire exhaled in respite, belying two elongated scars on his back where an angelβs wings might protrude, clearly visible following the removal of his shirt. βCare to join me for a brief swim? Before the sun goes down, I plan on cooking a barbecue for the two of us.β
"As much as I prefer other activities over the beach, I think this isnβt too bad."
There was a hint of annoyance in Linβs π tone yet at this point, the vampire must be aware of when sheβd be telling the truth and when she wonβt.
"Someone like me, huh⦠how sweet of you." Sarcasm. Of course. When was she ever honest?
As he mentioned swimming, the girl curled up more in her sandy seat, a pout adorning her cheeks. She couldnβt swim and she refused to either way.
However, Lin π was quick to snatch one of the drinks to take a sip as she was curious about the taste as it looked refreshing to the eye.
Once the word 'barbecue' slipped past his lips, her face seemed to light up. She loved barbecues more than she loved the beach, to be precise.
"Iβm not opposed to that. Just make it good. You canβt ruin something as good as a barbecue." Now being more enthusiastic, a huge smile spread on her face.
Although, she was avoiding eye contact for a good reason. She knew heβd tease her.
Lin π was wearing a one piece bathing suit as she was taught wearing bikinis was bad and so she never dared to. She did pack a bikini for this trip though. Her bathing suit looked childish, which she was insecure about, yet she was great at hiding it. Years of practice one might say.
An eyebrow raised and an amused expression on his face, Kai looked at Lin with slight confusion and gaiety. While he found her sudden action to be puzzling, Kai was also curious at her intentions. Compared to her, Kai wasn't the most intimate person you could ever meet. He was reluctant about it ( and perhaps it was only reserved for his brother ), silently judging the other's character while scrutinizing their intentions. He was a curious individual and preferred to observe from afar, thus; when people seek him about his curiosities and such, Kai resorts to acts of aggressiveness and distance, finding their sudden attention to be uncomfortable or alarming. Hence every social interaction was a fight or flight situation to him.
But with Lin, it was a little different than the usual.
While yes, he felt the same when he first met her, gradually with hard work and patience, this little human wormed her way to his personal space to the point that being around her didn't feel provoking. It was calming, like a sedative to his violence, and that... Scared him.
Though it wasn't Lin that he was scared of, but the affect that she had on him. No one but his brother managed to make him feel like this, though Lukas was an exception for they were twins ( they were bound to feel safe around each other, at least, to Kai's perspective. )
He wanted to run away from it, for it was foreign and strange, yet here he was, letting the girl lay upon his lap as if they've done such a thing before. Kai had leaned back, watching Lin as a hand of his lifted off the ground. He poked her cheek, a small smirk settled upon his face.
"Getting comfortable as fuck now, are we?" He commented, "So what the fuck are you doing? Knowing you, you're probably thinking of something dirty, huh? You're concerningly close to my crotch, bunny. You sure you aren't trying to jump me? " There was a teasing tone to his voice.
But perhaps it was moments like this... That made Kai thought, 'It's not so bad to stay for a while... '
Lin π approached the vampire as he dozed off, gently taking hold of his face as the marker in her hand moved across his skin to draw something on him. First, she targetted his forehead as she wrote "Adamn't" on it. Then she drew a blush across his cheeks along with some hearts.
"Pretty!" She quietly exclaimed.
With each subtle rise and fall of his chest, slightly disheveled bangs curled against his forehead, and a book snug against his abdomen in a state of respite, Ruki had succumbed to a random, almost uncharacteristic burst of drowsiness. When he came to, not only did he notice a strange twitching of what appeared to be two, elongated black ears the color of his hair atop his head, but also something about his forehead, cheeks, and overall face felt very off. The first person he saw when he finally woke from his sleep was none other than Lin who sported an adorable, albeit slightly mischievous grin.
"Ah, Lin... You caught me in an awkward moment, it would seem. Something feels... weird," he mused, disgruntled. "I don't like it."
As he ran a hand through his hair, he immediately felt the two ears and gasped a bit in surprise. Then he took notice of Lin holding a marker. With the girl standing so close to him, he put two and two together.
"...Tell me, Lin. What is the meaning of this?! Is this some kind of cruel joke?" Pinning her down to the bed, Ruki positioned his fangs mere inches away from her neck.
"You will answer for this," he took a harsh bite into her flesh, "and pay in your blood."
As he awoke, Lin π just stared at him. She couldnβt take him seriously at all. With a giggle, she caressed his face and admired her handiwork even more. She couldnβt be more proud.
When she was pushed down, a gasp slipped past her lips. "Wait, wait!" It was too late. He had already bitten her. A groan escaped her lips as she attempted to push at his shoulder to keep him away. "I⦠It was just for fun, I swear!" While protesting the sight of her drawings on his face caused her to burst out into laughter. "You look cute though! Do you want to see it?" Despite being pushed against the bed, one of her hands reached for the pocket mirror in her pants.
"Hey, did you wait long? You sure came running as soon as I called you here." Kai sweat dropped before he sighed, " But, whatever. Happy Easter, Lin. It's a pretty shitty gift since Lou and I just bought it recently. Didn't even fucking know humans celebrate bunnies with chocolate and shit. Pretty fucking lame if you ask me but... It... Sorta reminded me of you so... " He averted his gaze, " Just take the fucking gift. "
He suddenly wore a smirk, "Then again, I guess I should celebrate this more appropriately, huh? " He tilted his head to the side, " Happy Birthday, mein kleiner hase."
"There you are, Liebling! I haven't been waiting that long, don't worry! I would wait forever for you." When Kai mentioned how she came running, Lin giggled in response. "Of course, I came running! Any chance to meet you is a blessing!" She cupped her own cheeks, giggling to herself as imaginary hearts surrounded her.
When he spoke again, she focused on him once more. Of course she would. "Oh my goodness, it's so cute!" She eagerly examined the little box, squealing at it. Mostly because it was Kai who gave it to her. Once he said it reminded him of her, it was over for him. Simpery incoming. "You thought of me?! Oh my goodness, I'm so happy!! You have no idea! MY LIEBLING THINKS OF ME. MY LIEBLING THINKS OF ME." Lin bounced in place, tears forming in her eyes. Oh no, that nickname. Good fucking luck. "OH MY GOD. IM DEIN KLEINER HASE NOW? AHHHHH. CALL ME THAT AGAIN PLEASE!!" The screaming went on for a while, before she reminded she had a gift for him too. "Ah! I have a gift as well for you, mein Liebling."

Although, I canβt say it looks bad on you.β A forefinger trailed along the topβs straps, playfully tugging on it before watching it snap back into place against her skin. βNot one bit. Is this your way of tempting your master?β
Lin π instinctively flinched as the straps snapped against her skin. The pout on her lips remained as she stared at Ruki. "My outfit... I just felt like wearing it." What an obvious lie. "It has nothing to do with you." Another lie. Although she was sure he would see right through that. Especially with the familiar collar around her neck. "I like this better." Wow, honesty. Shocking. "I like it when your attention is on me so..."
She didn't dare touch him anywhere yet. He didn't deserve it. Instead, her hands wandered her own body, along her curves and whatnot. Lin π pretended to be smoothening down her top though. What a great way to tease him. Now, for the cherry on top... "Well, on that note, I'm leaving..." With a smile, she turned and began walking towards the door.
Soft silk cloth slid over the younger twin's eyes, tieing a semi-tight knot yet making sure it does not fall off. "Perfect." Lin mumbled, stepping back to admire blindfolded Kai in front of her. "Everything okay?" Caressing his cheek, her thumb stroked his cheek before stepping back to get her hands on the item she needed.
Twirling the spear point blade in her hands, she smiled down at the vibora although he couldn't see it. "I'm glad you finally agreed to this. I wanted to try doing this for so long." For precautional reasons, Lin was wearing protective gloves. "Don't worry. Everything will be fine. I'll make you feel so good." Trailing the blade across his clothed arm, Lin laughed to herself. "Would you like me to take these clothes off?" Without waiting for an answer, she cut through his clothing with the blade. "I think this method is much better." Getting on her knees, the cold blade ran across Kai's flesh, not yet cutting into it. Leaning forward, her lips brushed against the shell of his ear as she spoke in a hushed tone.
"Beg and I'll begin cutting." Waiting for Kai to say something, her tongue darted out to lap at his ear as she watched his reactions closely.

Kai sighed at what he got himself into. Should he have really agreed to this? He would've been more compliant if he was in a tired mood, but that wasn't the case today. Nonetheless, Lin seemed thrilled about it so who was he to turn it down? Besides, he heard he'll be receiving special treatment with this. He's looking forward to it.
With his eyes blindfolded, Kai slightly flinched at the sudden hand against his cheek but quickly relaxed once he remembered that it was only him and Lin in this room.

"Iβm here for our promised date! Are you excited?"
Kai looked through his playlist as he waited for Lin. He sported a black shirt tucked into some jeans. A pair of black sneakers adorned his feet. It was plain and casual but he still managed to gain some ogling looks from a few passerbys, to which he was completely unaware of and thought of them as looks of disgust.
He perked up at Lin's voice and waved. As he was about to greet her, he froze at the sudden kiss on his cheeks, lips pursing as he stiffly nodded.
"Hey. Yeah." He managed to reply, "Never been on one so I guess I'm a little interested. " He pulled his earphones out and hung them around his neck, tucking his phone as he glanced down at Lin.
"Then you're just going to have to win then." Kai replied as he started the shooting game, perking up at Lin's side of the bet and hummed.
"Sure. That's all you want? And here I thought you'd say something naughty, " he aimed his toy gun at his targets and began shooting, " Guess you have a cute side to you. "
His attacks was direct, aiming for the head as he missed a few. He wasn't exactly like Lukas whose specialty was combat, but he figured his skills was enough for this game.
"Kill count : 12 and ongoing." he competitively announced with a small smirk on his face.
βOh trust me, Iβm planning to.β Lin retorted, a confident look on her face. Shooting games were her specialty as she played them a lot. This was going to be a piece of cake.Β
βIβm not always thinking about naughty things, you know?β His last remark nearly caught her off guard as she was embarrassed. However, her competitive side shone through and she quickly regained focus.Β
As soon as the game began, Lin began shooting expertly as she scowled at the screen. There was nothing that could make her lose her focus. Despite missing at least two or three enemies, she was doing very well. A contrast to her usual loud and cutesy nature. It was like she changed to a completely new person.
When he announced his kill count, Lin only smirked and scoffed as she continued on with the game. This was no time to lose focus. He was her beloved but she wonβt lose to anyone.
One shot, and another. Kai continuously aimed for a head shot, clicking his tongue when he missed a few. While he competed to win the bet, he didn't particularly took this seriously. He was nonchalant about, almost reluctant yet slightly determined to win. This was not an actual fight after all, so there was no need to be serious about it.
His eyes remained focused on the screen, cancelling out the people around them along with the chatter. It was as if Kai only existed in a world with Lin at that moment, and for once, he was actually enjoying himself.
Lukas barely agreed to go with him to the arcade as his older brother was more of a fan of older things. Loud and bright machines that sported a variety of games, only confused the older Vibora. So seeing Lin actually having fun to the point of being competitive, made Kai feel giddy himself. He has never gone out nor hang out with anyone else but his brother before so this whole date thing was an entirely different and new experience for him. And if he could admit it, he would have said it was enjoyable so far.
The game suddenly came to a stop as the words, 'GAME OVER', blinked on the screen. It soon revealed their scores.
With her head in the game, there was no way she would allow herself to miss more than she already had. With one kill after another, little sounds escaped her as if she was mocking the enemies.
In truth, on the inside she was overjoyed. Playing a game like this together was a dream. She enjoyed arcades more than anything else. Gaming was one of her greatest passions. It was easy for her to get lost in the game and just forget everything else. But this time was different. This time Kai was here and it was the best.
As the game ended, Lin stared at the screen for her score. He got a 81 huh? When a number came up, she could only smirk in triumph. Followed by her fist thrusting in the air and an overjoyed jump. "Wohooo! 87, baby!"
With that she turned to him, holding the toy gun over her shoulder. "I told you I was good."
Watching her enthusiasm and joy in winning, Kai could only display a small smirk as he slotted the plastic gun back inside its sheathe.
Though it made him upset that he lost, he didn't really expect to win at all. He was used to failure, so he didn't expect too much of himself. Despite the bitter feeling he felt, seeing Lin all happy and cheering on her victory, lifted the bittersweet feeling he felt. He felt humorous and dare he say, happy for her.
He placed a hand on her head and gently petted her.
"Congratulations, stalker. Guess I'm heading over to your house soon. That eager to have me? " he playfully asked as he retracted his hand, " Anyway, your turn to choose a game."
Putting her toy gun away as well, Lin was ready to move on until she felt his hand on her head. As she blinked in confusion, she processed what was happening rather quickly. "I... yes, I'm glad to have you!" With a blush on her face, she nodded eagerly before relishing in the touch on her head.
She couldn't help but feel disappointed when he retracted his hand already, pouting and huffing. "My turn..." Lin repeated, turning to look around the arcade. Though she couldn't see much because of her height.
"Oh, I know!" Finally having on idea of what they could play, the girl grabbed his hand and began dragging him towards the game. They stopped by the basketball hoop as an excited expression struck her features. "Tada! Though, I'm also good at this one so I should probably go easy on you this time." Nudging him as she spoke those words, a grin spread on her face before she turned her attention to the game.
As Lin dragged him towards the basketball game, Kai rose an eyebrow at the machine. He never particularly played these when he goes to the arcade and mainly headed towards 1v1 games. That, and whack-a-mole. So to say, he was a little unsure of his skills again, but figured it was easy enough to get a hang of. After all, all he has to do is throw the ball into the hoop and score a point. It was simple enough.
"Oi. Go easy on me, and I'll be pissed at you. " Kai slotted their coins, " I may be a piece of trash, but even I wouldn't underestimate me. " he picked up a ball and landed a shot.
βAlright, alright! No going easy then!β Lin exclaimed before her expression changed into an annoyed one. Her hand reached out to pinch his nose as she pouted.Β βStop talking about yourself that way. Especially around me. Youβre far more invaluable than you think.β With that, she removed her hand from his nose and turned to the game as she pondered for a moment.

βAnyway! Letβs begin! Iβm rooting for you this time~!β With that, Lin began the game while landing a few shots with a grin on her face. Basketball was truly her game although she was curious what it would look like if he won. She promised not to go easy on him though. And she wonβt.Β
He scrunched his face at Lin's sudden pinch on his nose, huffing at her warning to not talk shit about himself. It was true though, so he wondered why he shouldn't. He was simply stating the truth.
One shot, two shots, three shots. Kai kept a rhythm going as he slowly got a hang of it. However, as soon as the rim started to move, he hissed and cursed that he started missing shots. Although, he managed to get back to his rhythm quickly.
"You learned to cook, huh." Kai gave a quick glance to Lin, "I'll be the judge of your dish then. Though, if you want, I can also cook for us. Just, don't expect for it to taste good at all. I'm still learning. " he made another perfect shot.
Although Kai loved the arcade, he wasn't exactly the best at winning. After all, it was only until recent he got into playing in the arcade. Usually, he would spend his time sleeping but Lukas urged him to go out and have some fun. He was rather thankful as he found a new hobby to fixate on. He was getting a little tired of Alchemy, after all.
The girl was watching him from the corner of her eye, stifling a laugh when he got frustrated while barely missing any shots herself. When he spoke about her cooking, it made her feel warm inside. There was one thing in mind that they could do.
"Then how aboutβ¦ we cook together? Sounds fun, right?" The happy look on her face wasnβt hard to miss as she imagined it in her head. How she barely missed shots was a mystery, however this was the kind of game she was into so perhaps it wasnβt such a surprise after all.
"You're doing great!" Lin urged on, secretly hoping he would win which sort of clashes with her competitive side but she didnβt care. She wasnβt holding back either. Spending time together with the guy she loved was a joy. After all, this is the first time sheβd done this with someone and she was enjoying every minute of it.
"Oh my! Shopping together?! Ah, I can't wait!" Lin turned her attention away from the game for a moment to cup her own cheeks in joy. When she realized she almost abandoned the game, she turned back to make a few more shots before the game officially ended.
Glancing at her score, she looked over at Kai's. 166 points. A draw. The bunny girl blinked a few times, before smiling widely. "Looks like it's a draw this time!" She couldn't help but laugh at the outcome, holding herself back from jumping him.
"So... what next?" Lin looked around curiously, pursing her lips. It wasn't her turn to choose but she took a quick glance around either way.
Kai hummed and his eyes caught a crane game at a distance, filled with plushies and a variety of goodies. He pointed at it and looked back at Lin.
"There. I want to play that."
Without waiting for her reply, Kai grabbed Lin's wrist and dragged her over to the said game with excitement trickling in his body. There was a plushie he wanted to get and it was calling his name at this point.
"After this, we can go shopping. You pick out the ingredients, alright? I don't know jack shit about it. I usually just ask the vendors... " Kai slotted a coin in and started the game, aiming for a specific plushie as he continued to talk, " So what do you have in mind? for our dish, that is. "
As Kai pointed out the next game, Lin couldnβt help but smile at that. He was like a child desperately wanting a toy. So cute! She didnβt bother replying as he was already dragging her towards it.
When they arrived there, Lin just watched as he played. It was somehow entertaining to watch a somewhat tall man, trying so hard to get a plushie. "Say⦠would you get me one too?" Of course that was meant as a joke. She already knew the answer to that.
Lin could feel the excitement inside her as he mentioned shopping, smiling widely. "Donβt worry! I got it all covered!" As he asked about the dish, the bunny girlβs smile widened. "Wellβ¦ Do you know what German Goulash is? Itβs really just meat in a nice sauce. Sometimes people add vegetables to it because they donβt like purely meat. What a waste honestly. Meat is the best thing. Anyway, I might end up adding some to my portion anyway. I do like a balanced meal." She kept rambling on about the dish, explaining a few things in case Kai wanted to cook it for his brother.
