Tohru is trying desperately not to cry out to the heavens. Kyo is not making that task easy; he’s pounding into her from beside and hitting spots that she didn’t know existed inside her, and her soul is about to escape her body. It’s only 8 in the evening, and she’s pretty sure if she cried out too loudly, someone (like Yuki, oh god, or worse, Shigure) would hear her. It was such a risky idea to do this with BOTH of them at home, but there was also a quiet thrill that Tohru found strangely arousing knowing they were doing this with both of them completely unaware.
She whimpers a little bit, and immediately slaps her hand to her mouth.
“It’s okay, Tohru, cry out a little bit.”
“I-I can’t, Kyo-kun; what if they hear me?” She says, her words slightly muffled from her hand.
“Let them hear. Fucking rat boy needs to know I’m good at fucking you.” Kyo grunts as he thrusts into her.
“K-kyo-kun!” Tohru cries. She can’t think anymore with his continued thrusts, so delicious and spiking her pleasure every time. Her arm left to support her could give out. God, he’s so good at this.
She then feels his hands at her waist, sliding up to her chest and groping her breasts, his thumbs brushing up against her nipples.
“Y-yes, Kyo-kun,” Tohru moans, her hand leaving her mouth. His touch is always so loving and delicate. It does not matter how hard they go with their lovemaking; Kyo is always the sweetest, most tender lover. He’s tender with kissing her, holding her, touching her, thrusting his dick into her.
“T-tohru,” Kyo responds, his voice so breathy it gives Tohru goosebumps up her arms and legs.
“You are so tight and wet, Tohru, you feel amazing”
“You feel so good too, Kyo-kun. Keep going please!”
His hands leave her chest, instead now gathering strands of her hair into his palm, giving it the smallest of tugs. “Does this hurt?”
“N-No,” She replies, blushing heavily because it feels pretty good actually.
“Good.” He grins. Kyo tugs again as he does against thrust, and Tohru can’t contain herself; she lets out a loud moan that will surely be heard by those in the homestead as well.
“Keep it down up there!” Shigure’s voice sounds from below.
“Ughhh, I liked it better when they were awkward around each other. I’m going to see Kakeru.” Yuki is telling him.
Footsteps sound shortly after, the sliding of the front door, slamming it behind him. Shigure is heard chuckling.
She doesn’t pay any further attention to the noises downstairs after that. Not with Kyo fucking her into her mattress. Her bed frame shakes under their weight. Tohru grips at the bedding, her face hot and pink, and she’s ready to give in to the peak at any second.
“Kyo-kun… I’m almost-"
“Me too, Tohru, me too,” Kyo grunts.
“Could you grope my breasts again, Kyo-kun?” Tohru turns her head to glance at him; his face is as heated as hers.
“Happily.” Kyo glances back at her, winking, making Tohru blush despite how warm her face already is. One of his hands lets go of her hair and goes back to her chest. Tohru mews at the feeling of his fingers there. Just a few brushes to her nipples and she’s done for.
“Kyooo!!!” Tohru cries out, the floodgates released, dampening her sheets below. The heavenly sky shines its warm evening sunbeams through her window; she can feel it on her back as she comes.
Kyo’s climax shortly comes after her own, his own floodgate filling her up and making her dizzy. He slides out of her, and she slightly mourns the complete feeling of him inside her, but she’s so tired she flops down, trying to catch her breath.
He lays down beside her, and she turns to face him. He gathers her into his arms, her face buried into his chest. He’s so warm.
“Do you think they heard us?”
Tohru snorts, nodding her head, “Yeah, I think they did.”
He chuckles, kissing the top of her head. “It was worth it.”
“Yuki left because we were so loud.” Tohru peeks up at him.
“Good.”
“Kyo-kun!” Tohru giggles.
“What? He’s done it before with Kakeru in the house. You weren’t here when they did, but let’s just say he was being the loud one.”
“Yuki was?” Tohru gasps.
“Oh yeah,” Kyo confirms.
“Anyway, Tohru.. Would you like to take a shower.. With me?” Kyo says, almost shyly, even though they just had sex.
“Of course Kyo-kun!” Tohru smiles, lifting her head as he bends his, and their lips meet sweetly.
Fanart for my FAVORITE Zutara fic called Delicate by @jasmine-tea-latte !! 500k words of Bridgerton x my favorite ship UGH I’m in heaven I had to draw them🥹
“So… there’s no one around..” Suzuki looks up at him with that hopeful gleam in her eyes. Tani can tell right away what she’s hinting at. The blush on her cheeks, her eyelids half open, her hopeful tone.
He takes a peek around them, just to make sure. The streets are quiet. The walkaways are empty. It really just feels like it’s the two of them and no one else.
He takes her hand, and she is taken aback. Her cheeks were so adorably flushed.
He leans in. She does too. Their faces and lips inch closer to each other. Eyelids get heavy. Faces are drawing ever closer.
Just a little bit more…
A little more...
Then their lips connect, and the world falls away. It’s a cliché that he’s once seen in movies and read in books, but it rings true. The sweet pressure of Suzuki’s lips is everything. He can’t get enough now that he knows what it’s like. He wraps his right arm around her backside, pulling her closer to him. Suzuki’s hand clings to the front of his jacket.
Her mouth opens, her tongue coming out to brush against his lips, and he shivers. Opening his own, their tongue wrestle with each other, and even more goosebumps raise on his skin.
Tani wants this moment to last forever. It’s the only thing he’d ever wish for if wishes could really come true.
Suzuki’s the one to break their lips, breathless as she looks at him with such love and affection, it makes him blush. He’s about to say something when the loud screech of tires makes them both jump.
“What’s this???” Says a strangely familiar voice.
“Miyu!!! Yuusuke-kun!!!” He glances over, and his face pales. It’s Suzuki’s dad and her mom. Her mother looks like she’s about to giggle a “hohoho” while her Dad is waving at them, completely oblivious to what just occurred, thankfully.
Oh god. That was too close. Tani thinks, embarrassed. They could’ve been caught kissing… But what a wonderful kiss it was
.
“My Dad?!” Suzuki yelps. She looks stricken, her face pale and glistening with sweat.
Her parents drive them home; both are too embarrassed to meet each other's eyes.
“Yuusuke-kun, your house is this way, right?” Her Dad asks.
“Yes, sir. T-Thank you.” Tani mutters.
When her parents pull up to his house, Tani gets out of the car, lighting quickly. Suzuki gets out to say goodbye to him.
“Goodnight, Tani-kun. I-I’m sorry about my parents…”
“Don’t worry about it, Suzuki-chan.”
She smiles, blushing, and nods. She reaches out her hand, and he takes it with his own. They give each other’s hands a squeeze and bid each other goodnight, even though deep down Tani wants to just kiss her again.
Lying in bed, Tani drifts off, remembering the kiss, hoping it happens again soon.
Summary: during the beach house vacation, Tohru and Kyo build sandcastles a few times together, but with a twist I WISH WOULD HAVE HAPPENED!!
Based on a request from @bunnynosefanfics I hope you like this!

Kyo never felt like more of a pervert in his life, but he honestly couldn’t get enough of Tohru in her new pink swim suit. He had to admit that he was reluctant to come on this beach vacation, hating the water as much as he did, but he couldn’t resist the opportunity to spend time with her. If he was left alone at home, who knows what that damn rat would get up to. Not to mention Hatsuharu.
Momiji startled him out of his trance, motioning to where Tohru was quickly treading water. With an irritated sigh, he quickly made his way to the rocks that lined the shore, waiting for her to surface with an inflated tube under his arm. He couldn’t believe she was actually serious when she told him that’s how she swam, although he wasn’t exactly surprised either. She was almost to the spot that she would surely bump into when she surfaced with an astonishing gasp and he rolled his eyes.
“You really need to figure out how to breathe when you swim. One of these days you’re going to pass out and drown or something,” he called out over the small waves.
“Kyo! You were watching right? Didn’t I tell you I could swim really well?” She had more energy than he thought after a stunt like that; she was barely panting. “Watch! I bet I can swim over to Kisa even faster.”
His patience was wearing thin at her antics, but he couldn’t stop the swell of his heart when she obviously wanted his approval of her swimming “skills”. He knew she wouldn’t be able to hear him soon, and he was left with no other choice. After pinching the bridge of his nose and releasing a deep sigh, he reluctantly jumped into the water, making sure the inflated ring surrounded her.
“If you’re going to swim, learn how to do it right. Momiji! Come teach Tohru how to breathe while swimming!” He called out to his cousin. After a few steps weighed down by the heavy water, a feeling he absolutely despised, he heard melodious giggling behind him. His head snapped around to see a full, gorgeous smile on her face.
“What’s got you so happy?” he asked with a small smile to reflect her own.
“This is just so much fun! Thanks for coming in the water with me, Kyo!” she beamed. He felt the flush race to his cheeks and he spun her tube away before she could notice.

He couldn’t believe he was stuck with grocery duty. Wasn’t this supposed to be a vacation? He was bitterly debating his internal monologue about how Tohru would probably appreciate it and that it was about as heavy as a tennis ball to him, but he was annoyed nonetheless that he had to go with his cousins, most of all Yuki. As they neared the spot where Kisa and Hiro had deemed “Base Camp”, he heard a grating voice he was all too familiar with. When had Shigure gotten there? And why the hell was he talking like that to Tohru? The last thing he would allow was someone flirting with her, especially an adult like Shigure whom he didn’t trust in the slightest. The look on his face was clearly enough to get his cousin to shut up, although he was ready to throw the fruit on his shoulder square at Shigure’s face if he wasn’t actually kidding.
~~~
A stroke of luck, he tried to convince himself. The other Zodiacs had been summoned by Akito, and as much as he envied his cousins, he couldn’t say he wasn’t enjoying some one on one time with Tohru. He was even more ecstatic when she invited him to the beach to build a sandcastle, if that’s even the correct term for the lump of sand that sat in between them.
“Tohru, I hate to break it to you, but I don’t think that’s exactly a ‘castle’,” he teased as he poked a small hole into the side of it.
“Oh! Umm, no? I thought I got the hang of it after the small ones were done.” She scooped more sand into her palm to cover the hole he made, and just because he felt like it, he poked another hole in the same exact spot. He wanted to see what she looked like when she was a little annoyed, an emotion he’d never seen her display before.
“Kyo!” she gently scolded him, though she had a smile on her face. Ever so gentle and patient.
“What?” He asked in faux-innocence, trying to hide his smirk. “Well, it’s not like I’m an expert or anything. This is my first time making one.”
“Really?” Tohru inquired. “I built them when I was younger, but I guess that makes me your senpai!”
“Senpai,” he replied in a flat tone. He leaned in a bit so he could be eye level with her. “You suck at this.” She whipped her head up, surely to defend herself, but in doing so she also leaned in closer to him so that their noses brushed together. Both of them jumped back and flushed.
“I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t think you were that close…” Tohru tried to explain away the redness in her cheeks, and Kyo was mentally beating himself. If he had leaned forward just an inch, they would be having a completely different conversation.
~~~
The next morning, the Zodiacs were once again called away and Tohru, ever his angel, invited him back to the beach for another session of sandcastle building. He was barely even sad to be excluded from the family again if it meant another chance to be so close to her like the previous day.
Kyo wandered the beach, combing the sand for nothing in particular to add to the castle Tohru was building behind him. He stayed far enough away from the waves that it couldn’t reach his feet, but close enough that he felt the coolness of the sand in between his toes. At this distance, he saw a small rock moving. No, that was a little crab or something. He watched it crawl slowly before he bent down and picked it up, watching its legs wiggle around for something solid to walk on. He turned around and noted Tohru was working diligently on her castle, so as he approached, he called out to her. His heart fluttered almost painfully in his chest as she turned towards him with such a genuine smile on her face. He blushed and held up the little crab and offered a small “for you” before placing it on the flat surface at the top of the sand.
He sat next to her and took a breath before speaking.
“You know, you could go swimming if you want. You don’t have to be considerate.” He knew that it was the coward in him speaking, offering her a way to get away from him.
“I’m not being considerate at all! It’s more fun when we’re together, right?” She asked with a blush on her cheeks.
“Oh, umm, yeah. I guess so,” was all he could lamely respond. Truth be told, he just wanted to hug her or kiss her or something to show her how much her words meant to him.
He glanced at the bracelet that had basically molded itself to his wrist over the course of his life, and internally groaned when Tohru asked about it.
“It’s made from the bones of some great monk, and the red ones are lacquered with blood…” he paused before continuing, forcing himself to be brave. “I’ve always hated this thing. Is my life so important that someone died making this talisman?” His mind was flooded by the hundreds of times his mother had checked his wrist to make sure it was there, or his birth father calling him a monster. Akito sneering in disgust at his true form, or the look of shock and confusion on Tohru’s face when she saw it too.
He was only snapped back to the present when he felt her grasp his hand with a worried look on her face. He understood what her expression was trying to say. To her, he was worth it. They weren’t able to dwell on it as a huge wave snuck in behind them and nearly washed them away.
Tohru, of course, was startled. Kyo himself was furious. He was just getting to show a little bit of himself to her, close enough to hold her hand properly, and the damn ocean had to rear its ugly head and interrupt. Plus he felt like a cat who had just been dunked in a bathtub.
“STUPID OCEAN! DON’T MESS WITH ME! I’LL KILL YOU!” he shouted towards the horizon. His rage began to slowly simmer out when he heard small giggles next to his leg.
“I’m sorry, Kyo, but I don’t think even you could beat the ocean,” she laughed.
“You little brat,” he mumbled as he knelt in front of her, grabbing hold of her cheeks like he’d done a few times in the past. “Don’t laugh at me.” He was just embarrassed that the wave had been able to sneak up on him at all, and the fact that she was still laughing at him made his heart race in a way he had never felt before. All he knew was that he wanted her to stop laughing.
His brain didn’t catch up with his body for a moment, but that was all it took. He’d swooped down and pressed his mouth firmly against hers, and then she wasn’t giggling anymore. His first instinct was relief that he was no longer the butt of a joke, and then it was a flurry of emotions. Shock, exhilaration, mortification, pride, love, relief, uncertainty, and fear.
As he pulled away, he did so slowly, watching her look at him in astonishment. Had he really just kissed her? Just because she was laughing at him? Was he some sort of masochist?
“I-I… Y-you just…” He couldn’t come up with any coherent sentence in that moment. He was hoping she would say something, even something stupid, to break the unbearable tension that now lingered between them like another wave.
“Umm, I-I think you lost your hat,” he finally said, standing abruptly to search the shallow water for it. His face was on fire, his lips were tingling in such a pleasant way, and his breathing was uneven. Eventually, he found the cream colored hat and did his best to shake off all the water clinging to it. When he turned to face Tohru, she hadn’t moved an inch and she was lightly rubbing her finger over her lips.
“Here,” Kyo said softly as he put the hat back on her head. There were several moments of silence before he spoke again. “I’m really sorry. I don’t know why I did… that.”
“Don’t say that,” she mumbled. His heart stuttered painfully, hope surging unbidden through his veins.
“Tohru…” he started, and before he could continue, she was kissing him again, making sure to keep a few inches in between their bodies so he wouldn’t transform. He was able to savor it properly this time, noting small things she did. Her breath was shallow and her hand had come up to cup his cheek. Her other hand was on his knee, keeping herself balanced as she leaned toward him. His arms made several attempts to wrap around her waist and pull her towards him, but he refused to ruin the moment by turning into a cat. Instead, he mimicked her, placing a hand on her cheek and the other holding onto her waist.
When they broke away again, they were both smiling so hard that it hurt.
“Maybe the ocean isn’t so bad anymore,” Kyo mumbled before pulling her in again.
I'm rewatchig atla again and, as expected, i'm full of zutara feelings. Forever hopeful that this time they will be canon. ♥
