You just gotta unclog the pipe. Are you dumb now? No. The water was sitting stagnant because you were busy doing other things (100% fine btw). If any 'dumb' got in the water then it will quickly leave once you let the water start flowing again. Go get all the stupid out into a doc that doesn't matter. Even several of them. It might take a good while, especially if you're returning to writing after years or after a period of intense burnout, or both (waves). But you're just rusty, and letting that stop you will only ensure you stay stuck! Go forth and write some nonsense!

I’m absolutely speechless. I could cry. I might cry. Wowowowowowowow. I cannot describe the emotions I’m feeling right now. This is fantastic. It’s so incredibly visual - frame by frame like a cinematic masterpiece. The emotions, the design, the action shots of Roach approaching and leaping and landing… peerless. It’s like you genuinely plucked it straight out of my brain the way I envisioned it when I wrote it. Thank you so much - it’s a gift I hadn’t expected but one that makes all the difference today 💚

Side note: I know I’ve disappeared. Life has been so difficult since I wrote Three Steps From The Sky and continues to be difficult. Not gonna lie, I’ve had a really tough year health wise. It was already hanging by a spider’s thread but really the whole web started unravelling 😩 Think I’ve had more doctor’s appointments this year than I’ve had…probably my entire life combined. Nothing nefarious and deathly but full of nausea and vertigo and headaches nearly 5 of 7 days a week and rinse and repeat. Been an absolute…Valdo Marx.

Bless u for checking in though. I’ve felt v guilty for completely disappearing from here without a trace but I’ve legit barely had energy to be vertical.
