Soaring the Night Away || Sophie and Lovino

Sometimes Lovino had to question his own decision-making skills. The flyers around campus advertised exactly what he wanted to avoid: a Valentine's dance. Lovino abhorred dances. There were far too many people, the music was turned up way to high and there was nothing that can ruin your day like being stuck in a room full of people you don't know. And yet, despite his hatred of dances, he found himself wearing a suit in the courtyard amongst many others, staring at the decorations in awe.

There was something strange and fantastical about seeing the university dressed in decorations to enforce the romantic mood. It was hard for him to coincide the two images of the university - the serious school compared to the romantic scene - in his head. Lovino, who was a romantic at heart, smiled softly; but the frown returned quickly when he was bumped into by a couple who walked right past him as though he wasn't there. Lovino quietly cursed under his breath. Couldn't the idiots at least look where they were going?

Sighing, Lovino plopped into a seat at a nearby table. Why did he even come here? Ah right, poor decision making. Finally getting a good look at the table, he realized that there was another woman sitting there. She was also alone despite the fact that she looked very pretty. Standing up from his chair, he made his way next to her and offered his hand in an offer to dance.

“Distinguiti dalla massa, dimmi di si.” He said with a wink and a smile, hoping she understood what he meant.

The first character I fell in love with: Armin Arlert. I felt like I was a whole ton like him - my friend even calls me Armin. As the series slowly progresses, I find myself liking him less and less and his spot as favourite character has been overtaken by my bby.

The character who is my ‘baby’: Connie Springer is my bby. Because of everything that happens to him in the manga *sob*. Seriously, one of AoT/SnK's most underrated characters.

The character who I do not understand: Eren. Sometimes he does things that are pretty stupid as I bang my head against the desk.

The character that I think the show ruined: ummmm... Petra? I agree with Levi-mun. She was better in the manga.

The most attractive male and female character: Jean Kirschtein and Krista Lenz. I don't really find a lot of the characters particularly attractive, but... *waggles eyebrows*

The character death that was the worst for me: SPOILERS Marco *sob*. I got used to the deaths right after Marco died, so when Levi's squad died, it didn't impact me as much. (Although I did let out a crazed choked laugh thing when Petra died) /end SPOILERS

The character that is the most like me: According to my friends, I'm Armin. I'm even around the same height as him!

The character I think the writer(s) love: Jean. I've heard that he's Isayama's favourite character but... SPOILERS Come on! He had a gun pointed at his head but he's still alive! You've let me down, Isayama. /end SPOILERS

The character that I just want to be happy: Connie, goddamnit!

           | ☯ | —⇥How long had she wanted to go in and purchase one of the delicious looking treats? Every day, the young girl would walk past the bakery, smelling the scrumptious deserts inside. It always took every bit of her willpower to remind herself that she didn’t lhave the money to purchase anything from them, no matter how tempting it might be. 

Today was no exception. Sure, it was pay day, yet the minimal amount she made from working part time was just barely enough for the essentials of life and her schooling. "Some day…" Giving a defeated sigh, the girl turned from the window, stepping away as quickly as she could. She paused, catching herself right before she could smack into the brown haired boy behind her.

"—Ah! Oh, I’m sorry. That was a close one."

Lovino was on his way to open his café, at the same time he did every morning. At first, his opening times were almost never on time due to his laziness. However, he has finally gotten used to the routine and has successfully opened the café on time the past few days. He was in front of the bakery/café when he almost crashed into the girl in front of him.

"Oy, watch where you're going next time." Muttered Lovino. His face softened a bit at the girl's apology, but not enough to keep the almost permanent scowl off his face. He marched past the girl and took out his keys. He quickly picked out the appropriate one and unlocked the doors to Espresso Imperiale. He noticed the girl staring at him.

"Tch. Are you a customer?"

Tiramisu wasn’t exactly what he had hoped for. Not the thing that was the most filling either, maybe he should be trying one of their baked goods instead?That never failed to impress him, but then again he wasn’t a master on the kitchen. He knew how to make one hell of a fruit salad though, but that was because he always found himself eating fruit.

Some baked goods with fruit sounded pretty good at this moment, going for one of them would be nice. And something with coffein. Tea never seemed to match up with what he wanted, he could always make a cup when he got back home. Whenever that would be, when he first got outside, he usually wouldn’t go home hours later or when he got texts about being home for dinner. Usually a demand due to their need to some family time during the day since the family was pretty big. Who’s idea was it to have 11 children either way?

"Maybe I should go for something else then… How about an Apple pie and one Caffè crema?"

"Alright," he started. "One apple pie and one caffè crema coming right up." Lovino quickly got to work on the order. He pulled a slice of apple pie from underneath the counter and laid it down on the plate, pulling out a fork to accompany it. He then got to work on making caffè crema. He ran water as he brewed the caffè, making it twice as long as a lungo. He picked up the mug and put it next to the apple pie.

"Here you go, one apple pie and one caffè crema," announced Lovino, giving the food to the male. He sighed. It had been a long morning and he was already hungry. Lovino quickly prepared himself some espresso and grabbed a slice of the apple pie, somewhat curious about why the male wanted it for lunch. He moved them behind the counter, taking a sip and a bite when he had free time.

He noticed that the other male was still staring at him. "What?" He asked hostilely.
