Why is Nice wearing bandages?

Maybe it is just character design, but I like to believe there is a reason to it. I like to believe it has something to do with his Minimum. Besides I don’t think he get that easily injured that he need to wear that many bandages. I will also like to point in the manga especially he wears too many bandages.

As you can see here

Although I’m not sure to count the manga is the same as the anime yet. Considering it takes place the time before the anime plot. And how they use the Minimum is a bit different(for example: Nice doesn’t need to wear his headphones to use his Minimum).

Anyway, back to the reasons why I think he wears bandages. Just consider this a headcanon of mine. The reason Nice wear bandages he is really sensitive to sounds? Like he can sense them far better than a normal person, but it is too strong so he need to wear these “special bandages” to restrain it. Because really, how much do we actually we know about the Minimum can do anyway?

What do you think? Any thoughts about it?

Well, this is just a random thought. Probably a stupid one too. But it just came to me because it was strange to wear that many bandages. I have seen character wearing bandages as part of the design but not the same way as Nice so far.

I know I’m like a decade late to this but I only just found this series and just started it. From watching the way he scratched his cheek in the first episode of the anime(where one of the bandages is) makes me think maybe he just has a skin picking habit?

I do also like to think he’s sensitive to sound, so perhaps that overstimulates him sometimes which lends to the unhealthy habit of scratching or picking at his skin.
