For Amy - An Incredibly Belated Christmas drabble

Caught under the glow of a lone streetlight, a young woman kneels in the middle of the crossroads.

A small nod is his answer, and he quickly tucks away the handkerchief she hands back to him. "You know the cost then? You get your darling sister back, and in ten years time, I collect your soul. Not a minute more, poppet." 

 For a moment, she regains her nerve, jaw set in a harsh line. "But how do I know...that she'll be all right? How do I know you won't take her, too?"  "You don't," he tells her in all honesty. "But I won't. She'll live out a long life--to the ripe age of, let's say, eighty-six? Surely, that's long enough?"  He snaps his fingers, and the contract words burn red upon her skin. The pain twists her expression of sorrow to agony. "It's all under sub article A." Just as it'd come, the words were gone, and she shakes all over. Doubt. He could sense it. Time to strike while the iron was hot.  "You're not going to get a better shake from anyone else. Ten years of pure happiness?" His eyebrows raise, and he holds his arms out in expression that she has to be joking. "But I don't have all day. So---tick, tock."

Her eyes dart away from him, restless, and she wraps her arms around herself. 'Yes," she finally answers, her lips uncertain in forming the word.

'Yes," she echoes more firmly.  Crowley gives her a smile, all smug satisfaction, and pulls her in, claiming those plump lips in a less than chaste kiss.  "Pleasure doing business with you."

So, I'm here for like half a minute to finish up this Christmas Drabble for Amy. I owe one to Azzie and Peaches as well, and I need to finish Lily's birthday porn. Also, I might be making a Dean/Bela fanmix thing instead of writing her another drabble because this porn is fucking killing meee.  Anyway, hi. Well, I'm late to the whole well wishing holiday train, but I hope it goes without saying that all the friends I've made over this past year and the ones who still check in with me and offer encouragements or make me laugh--you're the best Christmas gift I could receive.
