Have you ever had a relationship with someone you thought would be a forever in your life? Like you thought, one way or another, in some type of shape or form, they would always be with you.

And then you had to cut them out. For whatever reason, whatever the situation was, they're no longer there for you. They can't be there for you because you chose that, maybe even you both did.

And then, have you ever run into them later on, maybe even constantly because of the circles you both belong to. And tried small talk, the barest attempt at a possible reconnection, no commitment. But they're different, you're different. You two are no longer the people that held a forever space in each other, there's no longer a shape or form for them to be with you.

And you walk away from that interaction thinking, "It makes sense, and it's for the best." But your chest is doing this weird thing where it feels as though someone's squeezing it with a fist while simultaneously feeling like you're stepping off a thousand foot cliff.

And then you'll keep seeing them, and all you can really stand to do is wonder what that forever could've looked like?

Have you ever gone through a the loss of who you thought was one of the most important people in your life, and have to stand there aching while you circle each other but never touch?

Because let me tell you, it sucks. And I think that Lewis and Nico might be able to tell you that as well.
