Kevin if he loved someone

-Kevin doesn't "crush." He observes like a feral cat with a lighter He sees you once, doesn't react, then finds himself staring when he shouldn’t. He convinces himself it's nothing But his brain latches on like a loose wire sparking Your presence becomes this strange static in his chest he can't name Allen the Magic Goose absolutely mocks him about it.
-He hovers near you, pretending he needs to be there for some unrelated reason Kevin is the type to sit three seats away but keep glancing sideways like a broken CCTV camera He memorizes your habits without realizing he's doing it He notices how you walk, how you keep your hands, how you react to loud noises He doesn't know why he's watching. It irritates him.
But he keeps doing it.
-Kevin feels affection like it’s heartburn It shows up as annoyance first He's snappy, dismissive, and awkward because he has the emotional range of a cracked lighter When you're kind to him, he freezes.
His brain doesn't have a folder for "gentle things directed at Kevin Spencer."
So he files it under
"danger unknown substance."
-also lately If someone bothers you, Kevin doesn’t make threats.He simply appears.Quiet.Expressionless.A presence that feels like a warning label peeling itself open Nobody wants to provoke the kid who would absolutely walk into a burning building just to see what happens
He won't say "I'm protecting you."
He'll say something like,
"Thought you might screw something up."
Which is Kevin-language for "i care and I hate that I care."
-If you touch him first:
Kevin short-circuits.
His shoulders tense like a startled raccoon.
He looks away fast.
He mumbles something unintelligible.
If he touches you first:
It's accidental, unconscious.
A sleeve brushing yours.
Standing closer than necessary.
Knees knocking under the table.
He doesn't step back.
He just pretends he didn't notice.(pathetic)
-Kevin shows affection through:
random objects he found
weird snacks he half-stole
stuff he thinks "fits your vibe" (he's often wrong)
objects that could be evidence in a crime
He'll toss them at you like:
"Take it or don't, whatever"
though he is just too nervous to say something nice.. well he don't know how to show emotion don't blame him.. BLAM HIS ASS PARENT!!!... i hatw them so badly btw😔
-If Kevin ever trusts you, you become one of the only people he speaks full sentences to.
You're also the only one he lets see the softer parts he tries to drown in smoke and chaos.
He won’t call it a relationship.
He'll call it
"hanging out"
or
"whatever this is."
But when he sits next to you, silent, leaning just a fraction of his weight your way…
That's Kevin's version of devotion.
-Kevin doesn't do romance traditionally.
He doesn't do promises.
He doesn’t do soft confessions.
But he shows up.
He stays.
He watches your back in the shadows.
He listens when he shouldn’t.
He holds on tighter than he admits.
It's a love that feels like a cigarette glow in the dark:
