131116 Infinite OGSNYC Fan Account
When I heard they were coming to the US, I decided I'd go if they were near me or if it were possible, and while NYC isn't exactly near me, I have a friend who lives there and she let me stay in her apartment for the weekend.
I bought the ticket right after tickets went on sale and then I booked my flight shortly after. I HAD TWO MONTHS TO THINK ABOUT SEEING INFINITE.
The venue really wasn't the best for this kind of concert; my seat and anyone else on the first balcony really had the worst view if they were in the back because the bottom of the top balcony and the pillars holding it up were in the way from any angle. THAT ASIDE, I DIDN'T LET IT RUIN MY NIGHT, EVEN IF I DID SPEND MORE MONEY TO SIT THERE THAN THE SECOND BALCONY PEOPLE.
The amount of screaming fangirls when the members showed up in cells was overwhelming (myself included, ngl).
They did Destiny and Tic Toc before they were taking off their jackets to prepare for Paradise and OMG DONGWOO RLY EXAGGERATED THE HIP THRUSTS EVERY TIME HE WAS IN FRONT. He pretty much did all the moves in Paradise with extra strong movements, it was nice.
Wings, Inception, Can U Smile, and Going To You were all cute and atm I don't remember anything that's really worth mentioning....
There was an interlude where a video was played... I have no idea what the video was because of the balcony, so I kinda just sat there waiting.
Sungjong and Sungyeol came out and did 3 분의 1 before Infinite H's intro started.
UGH. Victorious Way was amazing and Dongwoo and Hoya looked so damn gorgeous it was crazy. They performed Special Girl and ran around, dancing together, being cute adorable Infinite H before L came out for his solo stage.
He sang Love U Like You and sat on a bench with a teddy bear, singing to it and then he hugged it at the end. It was pretty cute. ;;
Woohyun's solo stage was Beautiful, and he came up to our balcony and proposed to one of the fans, even giving her a flower. EVERYONE WAS WORRIED WHEN HE LEFT FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN HE REAPPEARED ON OUR LEVEL UGH
Sunggyu sang 60초 for his solo song and I kinda fell in love with him and his voice, all over again.
I don't remember much from Still I Miss You, 엄마, the video, or She's Back. But I definitely remember Nothing's Over because it's my favourite Infinite song. They did it so well and I was reminded why I was willing to throw down so much money for this group. T___T
Entrust, Cover Girl, Be Mine, BTD (SCORPION MOVE GOT SO MANY SCREAMS IT WAS RIDICULOUS), and Man In Love (WAS SO DAMN CUTE UGH).
They said a few closing words, gave their goodbyes and Dongwoo started crying. It was so precious. He's too precious. T_T
Then they performed The Chaser. Again, Dongwoo was doing his moves especially strong in this song. Between him and Hoya, I always had one of my favourites in view to watch.
They bowed for a long time, giving hearts to the audience and bouncing around before they left the stage, and then the crowd started chanting for an encore.
Of course, Infinite delivers. They came back out and performed Come Back Again (Rock Version), Hysterie, and With... NGL, I CRIED DURING WITH.
I left as quickly as I could and tried to find where they'd be leaving the place. I waited for like half an hour before I gave up, because I apparently already missed them? Even though someone said there might be two of them still in there, as they only saw five leave. T_T
I read that they went to Korea Town for dinner and drinks after that, but I went back to the apartment because I had a flight to catch back to school.
All in all, I was very disappointed with the venue because I paid a lot for a good ticket, not a lot for a great view of a balcony. BUT INFINITE WAS AMAZING AND SO WORTH IT. I actually still, to this day, don't feel like it happened. At all. Ugh.
