what if Peter was caught doing faerie stuff throughout the day? (talking to silver, exc.) :3
Micky stood in the center of the scene with his hands pressed together like a steeple, “Hello, all, this is Micky Dolenz. You must be here because you suspect your friend and roommate is a faerie. Here are some of the signs to look out for.”
Peter was outside behind the beach house, talking to a tree, “So I told her, I didn’t even bring my clogs!” He laughed and slapped his knee, dying over his own joke.
Micky sat a ways away and lowered his voice so he could continue speaking with the audience without giving away his location to Peter, “The first sign of a fae; they talk frequently with plants and/or animals. They don’t just talk, either, they understand them. This could be your first red flag to your friend being a magical creature. Here’s some more examples…”
Micky stood up and went over to Peter, “Hey, buddy! I’m feeling a little bit anxious, my heart is just racing! Can you check my pulse?”
Peter shrugged then reached for his elbow.
“Peter, you check my wrist for my pulse…”
“Oh, sorry…” Peter held his wrist.
Micky shook his head and turned to the audience, “Your next sign is ignorance to basic human facts. Things that would be obvious to humans, fae just don’t understand. This trait can be misunderstood as being dumb, but is actually just cultural differences.”
“Who are you talking to…?” Peter looked between Micky and what he thought was just out into the beach.
Micky cleared his throat and changed the subject, “Pete, ol’ boy, what’s your opinion on war?”
Peter’s features darkened, “I think it’s a barbaric way to get one’s point across. Violence should be a last resort, and no issue should be solved by anything other than exchanging of words—“
“This goes hand in hand with what I was talking about earlier,” Micky turned to the audience again, “Some people mistake my friend Peter for being naive, but when you stumble upon topics like philosophy, he is surprisingly wise and deep. Showing he actually has an old soul—maybe older than he looks—and when he comes off as dumb, is actually just unaware of the culture.”
Peter made an offended face.
“Another test! Aversion to iron!” Micky picked up a horseshoe out of nowhere, “Peter, buddy, can you take this horseshoe for me?”
He cringed and backed away, “No, I can’t…”
“And why is that?” Asked Micky with a knowing grin.
“You got that off the beach. There’s a crab on it.”
Micky did a doubletake at the horseshoe, finding Peter was right. There was a crab—who was angry about being moved. He pinched Micky’s finger, causing him to scream and run to go find Mike for help.
“Well, that’s all from our show!” Peter grinned at the audience, “Tune in next week for Tork’s Tips to Avoiding Mythical Accusations!”
He gave a thumbs up and a wink.
