So, hello.

I’m Busker! (no, I am not actually a street performer, just someone who thought the word was cool)

I’m a person with various interests

I like writing and reading

I like art of all kinds, especially animation.

I am a huge theatre nerd, plays, acting, tech, set, stage managing, anything and everything.

possibly aspiring filmmaker(?)

I also like dogs and animals of all kinds (thanks wild kratts)

huge science and stem lover

I love learning about linguistics, culture, anthropology, archaeology, etc

English speaker, pero estoy aprendiendo el español, e parlo un po’ di italiano, ma sono un principiante. I’m also learning Gīkūyū/kikuyu

I hope to learn more languages in the future (hopefully French, Swahili, and possibly Arabic)

I may not be entirely proud of certain parts of this country, but I do appreciate a lot about it

to the America built not by the white, cis, straight men in power, but the American built by immigrants, women, the indigenous people whose land we live on, the enslaved people, the queer people, and everyone else who have worked to make this country what it is.

to the America that my father came to, and worked in, and was able to build a life for himself, even if he had to work illegally to put himself through school

to the America that my great, great, great grandparents immigrated to, passing through Ellis island

to the America that i have lived in my whole life, and that has given me so much opportunity and privilege in the grand scheme of things

and to the America that we will build and make better for those who come after us.

we may have a lot of work to do, and yes, it will be a hard road ahead, but I believe that ultimately, we have the power to change things.

things can, and will get better, no matter what.

it’s so fuckin hot out here bro

the place I live is so weird bc we get the full spectrum of all the seasons, sometimes within a week in certain months. In the winter it’s like -20F (-28C) or colder at times, then in the summer on days like today it’s easily 100F (37C) plus the humidity. So much humidity.

In short, the weather here is too much most of the time, except for the few days/weeks in spring and fall where it’s pleasant out.

Yoooo, Boppers it looks like the day has finally happened, and Warriors has officially been announced for a March 2027 release date!

I waited because I knew there was going to be a slow press roll out, and I'm glad I did because we learned some additional information.

The musical is going to be directed by Jenny Koons which is the first time and she's going to be using the book by Miranda and Davis as a springboard, but under their guidance she has flushed out the story a lot more.

The costume designs are going to be handled by Dede Ayite, who is a renowned African costume designer who's work includes Buena Vista social club, a primary designer for FIFA celebrations, and many other Afro Latino productions.

Based off of what we know all of the original Warriors from the concept album are going to be back since they all reposted on Instagram or hinted at it through the comments

In a big departure from something like hamilton, this is going to be a one-act musical, which I think is a good idea because it doesn't break the tension.

It's going to have a core cast of around 20 as well, so I can't wait to see you what the girls behind the production have cooking up.

As many long time boppers know, I've always maintained that the Warriors is definitely the musical of the 2020s we've been waiting for.

It's a very angry, radical, yet does not allow itself to sink into doomerism and I feel like what's going on in New York City is incredibly reflective of that with the recent DSA victories.

I think we saw the Knicks sweep and we're going to see The Warriors sweep!

Dinner I made a few nights ago. Homemade pita, Mediterranean salad, tzatziki, and chicken shawarma. It was good. 9/10 because it took me a super long time to make, but was worth it
