Hi guys! I know, the activity hasn’t been on point lately. I would say blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol but you know ya boi drink Hawaiian Punch. I have about 4 different end of semester projects to do and they’re all elaborate. My activity is going to be f00ked. Regardless, I can’t wait to be freed of this work and be active again! I apologize to those that I’d yet replied to. If it was in my power to get on and do them, I most certainly would have. I’m overwhelmed; but on the bright side of things, I’m progressing. I’m going to put Cloud on a 2 week hiatus. This should give me enough time to complete all of my projects. Wish me luck everyone!

I haven’t yet put this on my blog, but I plan to make an individual verse for the group with the following statistics.

Also, here are some things to take note of in this canon divergence.

Cloud did not battle @scphiroth during the climax of Advent Children.

Cloud has decided to use Materia once more, but only in dire situations. Otherwise, he will primarily rely on his swordsmanship.

Whenever I incorporate Materia into a battle, it will only be for the sake of Cloud’s limit breaks. His other attributes will not be affected.

For Cloud’s battle statistics, please skip the synopsis below.

Synopsis

After the events of Advent Children, Cloud returned to his ordinary life as a deliveryman for both Midgar and the surrounding lands. With the excess number of monsters running rampant in the world, Cloud was well equip to accept the responsibility of serving others’ needs. The Geostigma crisis, along with the Remnants Invasion, had subsided. With the aid of his friends, he was able to return peace to Midgar.

One day, however, the former militant’s life was once again affected by odd occurrences. A peculiar invitation was given to him. Apparently, he was deemed worthy of being a hero of the world of Tyria. Although the invitation felt undeserved, something within him sparked a passion to protect those in need – even if they belonged to a different world. In a way, he saw it as a cry for help. Cloud had always possessed a desire to protect others. And so, he ventured to the new land, mirroring the silhouette of the soldier he once claimed to be. This time, however, he would make the right decisions. His decisions.

Combat Capability

Cloud primarily relies on his swordsmanship in battle. While strength is his strongest asset, movement speed is the area in which Cloud falls short in (mostly due to the weight of his large weapon). However, Cloud’s proficiency with his weapon gives him an advantage. Unlike the Buster Sword, Cloud wields a compilation of six blades called the Fusion Swords. In battle, Cloud is able to shift between the six various blades with little effort. With amazing versatility, he is able to not only fight with one of his lighter blades, but also two simultaneously. Cloud can effortlessly mow through solid objects and monsters with his weapon. It goes without saying that his swordsmanship would suffice in most situations.

Due to Cloud’s caution of Tyria’s foreign creatures, he now carries Materia with him – just in case. After defeating Sephiroth over two years ago, people had stopped using Materia. It was until the battle with the Remnants that he began using them again. Their impact on him proved that Materia still had a role to play in his life.

I sincerely apologize for the lack of activity lately. College has been...to say the least, overwhelming. Graphic Design is a very detailed course and it honestly feels as if I’m just winging it. I will do my best to get on later on today because god knows I really want to participate in the event and remain active here. Have mercy on my soul CR.

After talking to @gaiafleur and sharing ideas and getting hyped andasuianfofsdnfoinewf, I started watching Advent Children and teared up a little bit. These feels man... Aerith is a gift to us all. When you come to realize that even in the Lifestream, Aerith did SO much. She made those phone calls. She helped Kadaj pass over. She watched over Cloud. She even Limit Break’d from the Lifestream. From the Lifestream. I just noticed things and began truly appreciating things I either took for granted or didn’t realize before. She’s a classy lady from the slums. She’s like, literally from the h00d. SO precious... I’m just imagining the FF7 remake right now in my mind and that’s going to literally fuck. me. up. I’m gonna be a mess. && I have @gaiafleur to blame for all of this. Someone give me a tissue, or better yet, Vaan’s vest.

There they met again. Rivals. Sworn enemies. Adversaries. For the life of him, Cloud could not extinguish the fumes of their distaste for one-another. Tension had flared so much that the blond forced himself to ignore the other’s presence. Much to his dismay, the other strutted to him boldly. There was something particularly different about him. His hair. It was enough to leave a person nearly speechless. There were no a split-ends in sight, and he could spot those out from a mile away. His hair could have very well been the most healthy hair he’d ever seen in his life, second to his that is. If he wasn’t for the other’s face obscuring his view with its invasion, a compliment would have rolled off of his tongue without his immediate restraint. A hand boldly rose to his face as a means to halt.

Soft brushes of wind coursed through the blond’s nostrils as he drifted into slumber. It was an ordinary day in Divinity’s Reach, or rather, as ordinary as a day could be in a foreign land. Hours had past since he finished his delivery, leaving him with an entire unoccupied afternoon. It was until he caught up with an old friend of his that his afternoon became productive. The two reminisced for hours until the sight of the setting sun dosed him with slumber.

Although unintentional, the setting just felt right for a nap. Was it inconsiderate to sleep while with company? Maybe. He would have apologized once he’d woke up – if it wasn’t for his rude awakening. An odd sensation broke his sleeping spell. It was until he had opened his eyes that the blond boiled with a rage. It went without saying that Cloud was not accustomed to others invading his personal space, let it be a friend or a complete stranger. His immediate reflex led him to distance himself and latch onto the blade at his hip.
