Ranting about things/features I wish animal jam had or still had in game, plus other things about animal jam.
the apparel side of animal jam merchandise, the old gift cards and member boxes were cool as well! If they still sold these I would be buying them, like for example, if you got a gift card for like..2 month of membership, you’d also get a snow leopard along with it! The same thing goes for the old pet figures, which you’d get a seal or something like that (via code) This really sucks because I wish I wish I have physical media of my favorite animal jam :[
Like, take a look at these animal jam sidekix, I wish they still sold this! They look so cute omg, ANYWAY other animal jam related thing, I think people who do color mods on their animals are really cool! I wish animal jam had more bright colors in the game, (that includes wearable items and den items) further more, I think animal looks pretty colorful, the only thing I think he’s missing is a head item, but he looks nice either way :3
Spikes are a pretty prominent feature in animal jam, that be it in animal jam’s history, economy, and culture. Spikes aren’t something that’s typically easy to get your hands on, but it’s definitely worth it. But if you don’t have things like spikes and headdresses, then you are seen as lower, which sucks because maybe spikes aren’t someone’s thing, and that’s okay. I’ve never really understood the whole “decent long” stuff, any spike I can get my hands (paws?) on is good enough (as long as it’s green) if you’ve seen my animal jam animal, you’d know I main arctic wolf, but I’d like to take this time to mention that some items look odd on certain animals, and I’m NOT talking about skullys. I mean it in the sense that if you put a spiked collar on a panda, it gets stretched out, and if you put an eyeball hat on a bunny, it looks huge on it.
Updates and animals again
Since animal jam classic as been put on a slower update schedule, most of the main updates go to animal jam play wild, which has its own issues I’ll get to, but for now I’ll just go over the updates, most of ajc’s updates are pretty big, to make up for a little long wait time, most updates introduce a pet, a den, and sometimes, SOMETIMES a new animal. I can’t believe the last animal ajc left us on was a moose. Meanwhile, ajpw got more exotic animals like the Tasmanian tiger or the dragon, don’t get me wrong, the animals we have in ajc are enough, but I wish we had more of a variety. Back to the topic of updates, animal jam classic does get some more stuff, the most recent update included a goat, and a bundle with a fox, pets, and a den (I think).
EVERYONE remembers fman122 right? I feel like he’s the face of the game at this point, since then, there haven’t been many animal jam hackers or rumors are hackers in the game anymore, I think it’s because it’s player base grew up, and stopped believing in animal jam creepy pastas or stuff like that. But it was fun to believe in hackers, despite most of them not being real at all, or having little proof about that they were even real to begin with.
The economy of animal is a very specific play-point of animal jam as a whole, but over the years as most of you guys know, it’s gone off the rails, with certain items that were worth practically nothing, being worth a pretty penny now, and vise versa. But it mostly depends on demand and what’s popular in the fashion aspects of animal jam (from what I’ve seen).
