New Crow Time 🎀🏅
Fucked up how humanity discovered electricity and radiation and made machines and learned to make airplanes and cured diseases and our takeaway isnt that "Some Magic Is Real And Here's Why", but that magic is fake this is big boy science and it's totally not magical
Me upon being isekaid to a fantasy world: you say you dont have magic but you conjured up that frog the other day whats with that
Wizard who spent decades mastering his craft, understands how and why it works, and processes it entirely as a regular part of his day to day life: did you just call creature conjuring magic
Works the other way around too in isekais.
that wizard: and you said you don't have magic in your world but there are lights that come on, that do not use candles or flames or emit any heat at all, the moment that you walk into a room? you don't even have to say anything?
me, squirming uncomfortably: for a while there an earlier version ran off of two claps
the wizard: an earlier version of what? the spell? the spell you use to make the lights come on?
Meister Pathfinder Class
Alright, so I created a class based on the Weapon Meister from Soul Eater. I love the idea of a living weapon that you partner up with and bond to, and I tried to capture the essence of that idea in tabletop mechanics. I feel this class has potential to not only be fun to play in combat, but lead to interesting roleplaying. I’d love to hear your thoughts, comments, and stories about how players playing this class went. Thanks! Class after the break.

Vocator Extras
This is coming out a little bit after the main one (since I wasn't finished with this one when it came out) but heres the "Extras" document, which has a bunch of misc stuff to go with the Vocator. The doc includes Feats, Magic Items, some NPC statblocks, bonus rules and a whole section just on flavor text for summoning the new vestiges! Hopefully this is something also enjoyable!
If you haven't read the main document yet, this here is a link to it
Oh, and heres a homebrewery link too
The Vocator
<:
Big homebrew time. Have 30 pages x)
so yeah! The Vocator! Its a variant class, since I'm enjoying making them, and this ones probably my new favourite of the bunch! The vocator exists as a modernization of the stuff seen in the 3.5e Binder, mixing its vestige mechanics with a bit of spellcasting too.
The class is pretty funky, its designed to sort of be a hyper-versatile, spellcaster-martial? That last sentence had no meaning, alright so. It fills a similiar role as the warlock, being a spellcaster who plays more like a martial, and its versatility comes in how you can practically rebuild your character each day. Got a social scenario? Bind vestiges related to social checks. Got combat? Switch to a bunch of combat stuff. Need healing? Get a healing vocator. With the vestiges on hand, the ability to swap subclasses baked in and such, the design is very much that you can customize and change your role in a party each day.
Overall, yeah, I am really happy with how this turned out, hopefully you guys like it as much as I do
Oh yeah, heres a link to it within homebrewery
Update: Want some feats, statblocks, items, flavour text and bonus rules? Heres a link to the Vocator Extras post
This is my attempt to import the Summoner class from Pathfinder into D&D 5e as a sorcerer variant/subclass. Much of it remains the same as the sorcerer, but the focus is on summoning and controling a bonded extraplanar entity, called an eidolon, which the Summoner controls in combat and shares a special bond. Customization of the eidolon is part of the fun, and the type of eidolon, relationship to your Summoner, and way of roleplaying the two of them is limited only by your imagination! Because this is a variant class, metamagic is replaced by eidolon evolutions, though the mechanics are almost exactly the same. As a variant class, one is free to determine if charisma, wisdom, or intelligence is the best spellcasting ability that one has in mind for their character and eidolon.

A lot of times they actively are trying to ignore the racist histories. Like I took a Texas History course in “high school” and Community College. Got really good grades in both courses and thought I knew a lot about Texas History. It wasn’t until a couple years ago that I learned that a huge reason that Texas rebelled and got independence from Mexico was that the Mexican government banned slavery and the white texans didn’t like that.

You’re told that you’re in your head too much, a phrase that’s often deployed against the quiet and cerebral. Or maybe there’s another word for such people: thinkers.

I guess I’m trying to say, grab anything that goes by. It may not come around again.

Saibaman Variant, Kiawaremen. Smaller, but still, dangerous.
