I’ve always felt that these shows are safe spaces where we can escape the status quo; racism, sexism, violence, bigotry of any kind. A place where complete strangers can find commonality and community. What happened in Paris was an attack on this belief, but absolutely not the end of it. There is more reason now than ever to find that commonality. We are all human, it’s time to prove it. (at Gaswerk)
