my biggest flex is that the head writer and creator of fuse and maggie followed me when i was on twitter & while i don’t think he personally shipped fuse and maggie he frequently liked my tweets examining their relationship and he’d even toss a like to my posts to my ship posts lol so i choose to believe he appreciated my point of view 🩵

given the time between the tweets and the voicelines i think it was like. 5-6 months maybe? and if i recall correctly i’m pretty sure that’s the genera length of time to write, record, and release new voicelines in apex so. idk if it’s true but i choose to believe that voiceline was my influence

i’m so unwell about mad maggie that i’m constantly crafting new connections in my mind that are ridiculous and lately the theme has been animals. maggies like an easily startled horse to me. she’s like a sunbathing lizard to me. she’s like a piranha

the latest update to this is just chicken. mostly because i can so easily picture fuse calling her that.

yes i did listen to the new interactions that axle has with maggie and fuse by the way

both are a bit lackluster in my opinion as i was expecting axle to have. idk. a little more spice? pizzazz? or even sharpness in her personality?

or i was at least hoping for more specific references or info about salvo

that said i do love how self amused maggie is and chipper even when she talks to axle. she clearly likes when someone gives a fuck and tries lol, which is such a funny parallel to the way axle criticizes fuse for half-assing everything he does while fuse seems to disapprove of axle’s single minded drive (pun intended)

it makes me sooo curious to understand his opinion of her bc of the way he indicates she’s put others at risk? and how axle feels about maggie and fuse’s feud/maggie’s wish for salvo’s freedom 🤔

either way i am absolutely dying for a salvo map at least. i don’t expect we’ll ever get much story direction or lore again but that wont stop me for yearning for it 😔

not to continue being insane but the thing that really gets me about fusemaggie is that i think it’s easy for maggie the sharp and loud and and silly but it’s hard for her to be soft!!! & to that end my butch4butch brain worms for fuse and maggie have skyrocketed bc i think a young maggie’s understanding of butch is like. she doesn’t know what she is without a relationship to a femme and that’s why it takes so long for her to confront her feelings about fuse bc butch4butch is this scary vulnerable soft unfamiliar territory!!!!
