If you go to Alex Mallari Jr’s twitter (Four/Ryo) he says there’s a special announcement on the way... idk if it’s Dark Matter related or not but I thought I should let you know in case :D

I am now severely confused. There are so many characters who just have numbers for names :/ if I say “oh yeah, Two is my favorite” am I talking about Diego? Portia Lin? Collette? This needs to stop before I don’t even remember which character belongs to which show

It takes a lot of buzz to keep a tv show alive, or to bring it to life to begin with. We’re trying to make sure that Joe’s next project launches solidly!

Okay, I’m still so so bitter that Dark Matter was canceled, but the three seasons we got were PHENOMENAL. I loved every single character (except Misaki, she’s just rude), and I eve loved them through their morally conflicted actions. There’s not a lot of short three season shows that I love this much. Veronica Mars, etc. — there were several episodes and even entire plots I disliked. But I genuinely, genuinely love 99% of Dark Matter.

Every character got more interesting every season. All these awkward strangers? They’re actually the most wanted criminals in the galaxy. That cold killer type? Actually manufactured in a lab and on the run from her Dr. Frankenstein-like creators. The good guy? Once let a few thousand people die in the name of “yay, the legal system.” That guy constantly threatening to double cross everyone? Has a dying girlfriend he’s in love with and trying to save. That (faux) innocent one? Actually started this whole mess in the first place, in multiple ways. The super badass fighter? Actually a prince who was framed for murder. The android? Has feelings and just wants to live. (Wow, I completely forgot a character, so I guess they were the one character I felt meh about. This post was about surprising depth, but dude’s depth were basically what he displayed on the surface all the time.)

I LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM SO MUCH. and that’s not even touching on Nyx, my cool seer chick who deserves better, and Commander Trauffault… who is actually kind of an asshole, but I love her anyway, because Tori Higginson.
