I was expecting to match more with Yang (74%) and Williamson (71%). On a base level of my answers, I agree with them almost all the time, but we the quiz got into the nitty gritty areas of why I agree, that’s where we didn’t match as well.

Biden (80%) is still who I’d vote for if the election were tomorrow, but I’ve been saying Warren (87%) is my favorite out of the bunch.

The most surprising part is Kamala (87%) tied for first. There’s a lot I find troubling about her very recent record, but I guess when you get down to brass policy, we’re similar.

I found out I’m apparently a bigger collectivist than anyone running, and where that drives a wage between me and the party most is on the military (I’m pretty heavily in favor of doing whatever we have to do to prevent a nuclear war).

Also found out I’m a bigger socialist than almost anyone running, which I’m only a little surprised about because the new social media version of being a socialist is fucking stupid and I’m an old head socialist. Only person more socialist than me was Bernie (86%).

One thing I’ve noticed about a lot of these progressive social justice movements (or whatever you want to call them) are simultaneously usually full of people who’ve rejected organized religion but at the same time function like them. I’ve noticed that much like a religion, the men are usually in charge and infallible; they’re sexual transgressions (usually towards women and children) go unnoticed or are swept under the rug. I see that men are put in positions of leadership whereas the women do the grunt work and bear the brunt of any death/rape/physical threats. Women committing thought crimes or speak out or ask questions are swiftly collected, called problematic or whatever, and become punching bags (did a woman say something you didn’t like? Well now you can call her a bitch or cunt or threaten her). Regardless of what the movement is, be it racial, LGBT, gender, environmental or whatever, I see the same garbage culty religious behaviour. I’m starting to really get the centrist point of view: the conservatives and the liberals are both dangerous and full of self righteous shit and hate women

Allowing Bernie Sanders to run was the single worst decision the Democrats have made since someone decided JFK should take a trip to Dallas.

Bernie Sanders, who has never accomplished anything in his entire career (wanna piss off a Bernie Bro today? Ask them to name an accomplishment of Bernie’s. He has none.) ran for President with the Democrats in order to raise his profile. Even though he’s not a Democrat, the party decided to give him resources (money, voter data, infrastructure) to challenge Hillary Clinton, the most qualified presidential candidate in American history. What did he do with those resources? (1)He used it to spy on the Clinton campaign illegally.

Bernie Sanders responded by mobilizing an obsessive group of fucking morons who (2)spread (3)daily (4)paranoid (5)conspiracy (6)theories about Hillary Clinton. He fed into bizarre conspiracy theories that Hillary and the Democrats were cheating him out of the nomination. I remember first seeing it after their first debate, when Hillary won according to experts and Bernie’s moronic fanbase was convinced (7)corporate media was conspiring with the Hillary campaign to trick people into thinking she won the debate.

This lead to the (8)Never Hillary movement, a group of voters so incensed with hatred for this woman that they were willing to let Trump march to the White House. All because he was “being robbed.”

In reality, (9)his numbers were fucking horrific with black people in the south where Hillary Clinton repeatedly kicked his ass. White liberals and yankees of course can’t handle the concept that southern blacks were getting in the way of their great white hope (”Why won’t black people vote for him? Killer Mike is campaigning for him!” they said as Killer Mike famously reminded us that (10)having a uterus doesn’t qualify someone to be president), so they turned their attention to Wikileaks, which was (11)already (12)systematically (13)assisting Bernie Sanders. 

No one would listen to “Hey, if Wikileaks is just out to expose corruption, how come they never attack Trump?” This was before we got to see everything unfold, of course. Never let Bernie Bros forget that (14)the Kremlin interfered in our elections to attack Hillary and help Bernie before any of the Trump stuff happened.

Then this dipshit goes on TV and says (15)Hillary is unqualified to be President. Trump (16)had a fucking field day quoting that “I agree with Bernie Sanders, she’s not fit to be President and she stole the nomination from him in the first place.”

Don’t forget that Sanders recently said that the (17)Democrats should embrace candidates who aren’t rigidly pro-choice or rigidly pro-gun control if it wants to appeal to more white d00ds. That should clue you in to the exact kind of campaign he’s hoping to run. He’s (18)campaigned for anti-abortion candidates too.

Fuck Bernie Sanders.

I’m not any sort of expert who knows about the on-the-ground intricacies of what’s going on in the Flint. But I do think that it’s a reasonable standard to say that anyone who uses Flint as a rhetorical point has to also be able to explain the Emergency Manager Law.  While, obviously, the roots of environmental racism and pollution in Flint go way back,  it is deeply frustrating and irresponsible to reference Flint in the context of the futility of voting when it only happened because the people who live in Flint were denied the right to vote across the board.  At the time when Flint’s unelected Emergency Manager, over the protest of Flint’s elected, but strictly ceremonial city council and mayor, choose to switch from Detroit’s water to the Flint River water not one single majority black community in Michigan was legally allowed to elect their own city government. During the Emergency Manager era all significant government decisions in all majority black communities in Michigan were made by the white Republican Governor. 

One part of what Proposal 2 is supposed to accomplish is the end of the kind of gerrymandering that allowed the state’s white rural communities to electorally overpower the rest of the state.
