HE COULDNâT CARE LESS ||JACK MAYNARD/JOE SUGG IMAGINE||TWIN SERIES
One of my own ideas once again. Joe isnât that much involved in it but I wanted to focus on the relationship between Jack/the reader.
Jack laughed at his friendâs joke as they all stepped into his flat. âSo where are we going tonight?â His ginger friend asked, sitting down on the couch, followed by the other boys. âCirque LeSoir?â Oli suggested, earning some nods from the other boys. Jack hesitated for a minute before nodding as well. The flat was too empty and his roommate was supposed to be here. âGive me a minute.â Jack said to his friends before walking down the hallway to where her room was. He hesitated again before knocking softly. âCan I come in?â Jack called out, waiting for her answer. When he heard a soft mumble, he pushed the door open slowly.
âYouâve got to be kidding me!â Jack exclaimed as he walked further into the room, eyes darting his half asleep twin sister, an amused smiled on his face. âFuck off!â Y/N said, barely above a whisper as she grabbed the pillow resting next to her, throwing it in his direction. Jack laughed at her action as he sat on the edge of the bed. âGet up, you lazy sod! Weâre going out tonight.â Jack stated as he got up, opening her wardrobe. Y/N lifted herself up slowly, a frown on her face. âIâm not going.â She affirmed, rubbing her tired eyes. âOh yes, you are.â Jack scoffed as he pulled out a silver dress, his eyebrows coming together in a frown.Â
âThereâs no way youâre wearing that, thatâs basically see through.â He mumbled, putting the dress back in its place. âJack, I donât feel like moving right now.â Y/N whined, playing with the hem of her shirt. In fact, she didnât want to do anything. âOh come on, youâve been saying that for the past 2 weeks!â Jack exclaimed, stopping to watch her. His serious glare softened as he watched the expression on her face. It broke his own heart to see like that. âJoe is coming.â Jack smirked, as he pulled out another dress, his frown bigger than the last time. âThatâs way too short.â He admitted, putting the dress back again. âStop judging my clothes!â Y/N yelled out in annoyance. âAnd do you really think that the fact that Joe is there will make me change my mind?â She questioned, eyes locked onto him as Jack sent her a look that said it all. After a minute, a smile finally appeared on her face. âFine. Count me in.â She breathed out, trying to hide the growing smile on her lips.
Jack felt a warming feeling in his chest as he had been able to put a smile on her face. He put out a simply black dress from the wardrobe, resting it on the bed before walking closer to her, dropping a kiss to the top of her head. âStop babysitting me.â Y/N teased, her own smirk growing. Jack simply rolled his eyes. âAnyway, take a shower, get dressed, put on whatever shit you put on your face. Weâre leaving in an hour.â Jack ordered, stepping backwards out of the door. âActually, you should really for it with makeup. You really need it right now.â Jack joked as Y/Nâs eyes went wide at his banter. âGet the fuck out!â She ordered, containing her own laugh as she threw another pillow onto him.
Y/N was heartbroken, truly heartbroken. And it was the first time that Jack had seen her like that. She had been trying to get over it. But all that she seemed able to do was locking herself out from everything and everyone. Luckily there was this boy that was making her life better and she was glad to have him by her side. Jack had tried everything but she would just stay in bed, hoping that one day she would wake up and the feeling will be gone. But it didnât work like that.
â
It was now hours later in the club. The boys were all dispatched everywhere, the music blasting through the walls. Joe and Jack were together though, the only thing they had been doing was keeping an eye on everyone, as they were the less drunk out of all of them. Jack suddenly frowned as he realized that he had lost sight of his twin sister and a wave of nerves flashed his body. âIâll be right back.â Jack whispered into his best friendâs ear before walking further in the club, stepping between the drunk strangers. Joe frowned as he watched his friend walk away but quickly followed him, putting a hand on his shoulder, allowing Jack to turn around to watch him, a questioning look on his face. âWhere are you going?â Joe asked, confused. Jack let out a sigh, trying to hide his sudden fear. If something happened to her, he would never forgive himself. âY/N is gone.â The fake blonde boy stated, looking around the club. âIâm coming with you.â Joe affirmed, his own worry growing. He cared about her, a lot more than he probably should. The two friends exchanged a look before walking deeper into the crowded room together. Â
A few minutes later, there was still no sight of her. Jack was slowly starting to panic. âWhere the hell is she?!â Jack exclaimed over the last music, the worry growing. âHey, mate. Calm down. Maybe sheâs just outside.â Joe said, reassuring his friend. Jack stopped walking back and forth and considered the idea. The two friends searched for the closest exit door and got out of the club, the cold air hitting them. As soon as they did, Jack knew that something was wrong.
âGet off of me!â A familiar voice called out and Jack felt his heart shrink. He could recognize this voice in a million. Within a second, Jack was running to where the voice was coming, followed by Joe and his worry turned into anger at the sight in front of him. A stranger had her pressed against the wall, his hands gripping on her waist tightly as she was trying her best to get away from him. âHey! Get away from her!â Jack snapped as he ran up to the man, pushing him away from her. Joe hurried to Y/N, checking if she was alright. âThe boyfriend I presume.â The drunk stranger exclaimed, eyes locked with Jackâs. âWorse. The brother.â Jack affirmed, pushing him harshly again. The man was now laughing and it only pissed Jack more. The man reached out to Y/N again and this time, Jack couldnât handle himself and connected his fist to the guyâs face. âDonât fucking touch her.â He snapped again, the blood hot in his veins. The man looked between all of them before running off down the London streets.
âYou didnât have to hit him.â Y/N mumbled, walking closer to him. Joe had a protective hand on the small of her back. âOf course I had to! Who knows what would happened if I didnât!â Jack snapped at his twin sister, the anger still floating in his system. âChill out, mate. Itâs not her fault.â Joe stated, trying to calm the situation but Jack sent him a look and he knew he didnât have to try. âI knew I should have stayed home. This was a stupid idea.â She admitted, crossing her arms as a shiver ran down her spine. Joe, being the gentleman that he is, took off his jacket and wrapped it around her, giving her a small smile. âNo, it wasnât. You canât just lock yourself in your room forever!â Jack said, his tone harsh on her. He knew yelling wasnât the solution but he had to say it. He had to say what she needed to hear. âStop breaking your own god damn heart and get over that boy. He couldnât care less, so why should you?â Jack yelled out, referring to her recent break up. He knew she was hurting and it drove him nuts. A heavy silence fell between them and Jack quickly noticed the tears that she was trying to hold. Joe stood there, motionless, he was afraid to say anything in this situation but he was dying to.
Jack let out a long sigh before stepping closer to her. âIâm serious. He is so not worth it. You deserve so much better. Stop blaming yourself, heâs the idiot for letting a girl like you go.â Jack admitted, his look softening as a tear slid down her cheek. He put a gentle hand on her arm as her eyes were still locked onto the ground. âIf youâre hurting, Iâm hurting too.â Jack stated, wrapping an arm around her. âI know. Letâs just go home.â Y/N said, barely above a whisper as they started walking to where the car was.Â
âShould I get back inside to check on the boys?â Joe suggested, hesitant. The siblings stopped walking. Y/N turned to face him, smiling gently over at him. âPlease, stay.â She ordered, handing her hand out. Joe looked between her and Jack, who gave him a small nod. Joe stepped closer, taking her hand his, interlacing their fingers together as they went back to the twins flat.
She knew it would he hard and that it would take some time but she had the most amazing friends and the most amazing twin. She felt better with her other half by her side.
