like i quite literally have never been more passionate about anything than i am about the human race’s invariable desire to tell stories and the fact that we always find a way to do it, through spoken language and written language and body language and visual art and theater and poetry and oral tradition and a million other things. there are so many things we take for granted about the human experience that we never stop to think about but i really want you to take a step back and consider how fucking amazing it is that our need to tell stories transcends all boundaries of time and geography and borders and language. it is one of very few things that is legitimately intrinsic to human nature and i will never stop being completely in awe of humanity for that.

I know this is at a point in their lives where they're apparently Not Feelin Groovy but they still seem to be having fun and this particular concert means so much to me

its always so important to me every time Art messes with his hands and drums or something because he doesn't have a second outlet like Paul- Paul gets to both sing and play guitar and while Art is first and foremost a Singer sometimes that's not enough to truly Get Out the song in the way you want and it always does smth a lil extra when he pats on his legs or taps his foots and drums smth out

Art messing up holy cow he fucked Mrs. Robinson up lmao and trying not to act like anything happened but Paul fully rotating to just stare at him while playing and both of them starting to laugh- Art recovers quicker while Paul just breaks (will never understand the argument that Paul gets mad at Art for messing up, he seems to delight in it lol)

And then his lil arm jerk towards Art at the end bc hehe

The bit at the end has my entire heart- Art says 'je ne peux pas souffler" which means I can't breathe/can't catch my breath but he wanted to say "je ne peux pas siffler" which means I can't whistle and both are innately hilarious to me.
