Mother Nature’s Personal Color Palette

Jessica Colaluca, founder at Design Seeds, is obsessed with colors found in nature. She uses landscape and nature photography as her prime source of inspiration and draws out from each picture a perfect color palette.

Artists, designers, bloggers and decorators are fans of her work, using her palette as a foundation for their own color schemes. Colaluca has tapped into one of nature’s best resources -  artists since the beginning of human civilization have used natural ingredients for their earthly tones and have also based their tints on pigments found in nature. Design Seeds uses the aesthetic appeal of natural stains to uplift art and life all around us. The tranquil colors of Wisconsin, where Jessica Colaluca lives, can be seen in her tone selection - the hues found in the local flowers, crops, produce and landscape. A stroll down the farmer’s market will open her eyes and spark her creativity often.
