Zion nodded again. “Imma have to talk to Karma if you’re my good comin in. I thought i’d be compensated in money or someshit, you boutta help me make money?” He joked alongside with her.
“ouch, i am a fantastic reward thank you.” the blonde mocked offence with a hand to her heart momentarily. rolling her eyes, “how? send me off to a frat house? I think i’d rather leave you broke.” cartia laughed.Â
“Well I like to speak my success into existence.” He said with a small nod, it was true. Zion was always preaching about the successes he’d soon have, it was a way for him to stay positive when all else was negative.
pursing her lips as if she understood while nodding. “oh i’m cartia by the way.” the connections only just linking that he had introduced himself. “y’know who knows maybe your luck is meeting me? i’ve heard i’m quiet a good asset.” joking really, but her tone didn’t let that on just yet.
Zion nodded as he looked around, seeing if she had dropped anything else. “Yeah I believe in that karma bullshit so I expect something good to happen to me today.” He said with a small chuckle. “I’m Zion.”
cartia grinned as she tucked her paint brushes into her bag, this time zipping it. “you realise you defeated the purpose by saying you expect something good?” the younger girl chimed, her blue eyes staring up at him.Â
“Yeah I definitely didn’t want you to lose it.” she chuckled softly and handed it over before crossing her arms. “Mind if I join you? Could use a latte..”
nodding her head, “not at all, more the merrier n stuff.” the blonde smiled cheerfully. she was enjoying being at a school where nobody really knew to much about her. “i’m cartia by the way.”
“I was asking if you dropped this.” He told the girl as he had multiple paint brushes in his hand. “Looks like they were coming from your bag.”
carty glanced to her backpack which was indeed open and back to the others hand as she came to a stop, “oh... um yeah those would be mine.” cartia laughed awkwardly as she collected them from him. “ah thank you for like the good deed n’ stuff.”
“Yes! I was.. hun you dropped this.” Violet explained as she reached out, wallet in hand with a soft smile on her lips. “Don’t wan’t you to lose it.” she purred and handed it over.
cartia turned back to face the other blonde, stopping in her tracks this time, “oh cheers,” taking her black YSL knockoff wallet gratefully. “yeah especially seeing as i was on my way to buy a coffee, that could’ve been super awkward.”
hearing a voice behind her, despite the fact she was new on campus she still presumed it was directed at her. spinning to face them as she continue to walk a happy grin on her face, “oops you weren’t talking to me were you?” she awkwardly completed a full three sixty as if it had never happened.Â
He pursed his lips before rolling his eyes at the new study partner who had graced him with her presence. “She’s a teacher.” He explained unable to hold back the smile that graced his usually stoic features as he shook his head at her coy words. “She taught me a lot of things.”Â
“huh, fancy that.” carty mumbled as she opened her own text book and notebook. noting the page with the date in her pink pen. “well then presumingly she doesn’t approve of what ever you where meaning by smoke.” the blonde was busy copying the highlighted quotes as she spoke, occasionally glancing through her thick lashes at him.
It was good etiquette to have your phone silenced in the library, but there were a few calls worth breaking the rules for. When his mother’s number flashed across the cracked screen of his phone he didn’t even second guess his decision to abandon the table where he left his work splayed out to wander the shelves in search of privacy. Their conversation dragged on, his mother’s words stern and filled with wisdom and worry as she pleaded with Dakari to talk to his younger brothers who always decided to cause trouble the second he left the 6 to go back to school.Â
Blindly he made his way back to the table where he left his valuables, more focused on the conversation at hand than the world around him. “I’ll talk to you later, mama. I love you.” He cooed into the phone in a sweet tone few, if anyone, ever heard from Dakari. It wasn’t until he hit the end call button that he noticed a presence sat at the table he had deserted. “Shit, man, you’re finna give me a heart attack.” He said with a nervous, wry chuckle before taking back his seat. “You don’t want no smoke so what are you staring at?”
a small grin on the female on her face looking up at the other. she had taken the table because she thought it was open but now she had put a few thing together in her mind after hearing the last words of the phone call as she had sauntered past him. “now did your mama not teach you bout sharing.” cartia teased playfully, truly meaning no harm.
“Can someone fucking explain to me why the fuck the guys I share a house with are fucking slobs. Like clean up a bit or no women are gonna wanna sleep with you.”
the blonde laughed softly and nodded, “it’s the truth.” her eyes scanned around the area before scrunching her nose, “is that an old pizza?” kicking it with her foot hesitantly, “what the fuck..”
“okay – which one of you fuckers told the pledges that the tequila was free game last night? – i was like seven shots away from having fun and – – god fucking dammit, one of them were hella crying. you know how hard it is for me to not punch a man that cries.”Â
carty flinched slightly at the tone from the other, “damn dude chill.” the blonde sighed, she wasn’t the one who had done it but she was one who had witnessed it. “honestly that just makes you sound one unappealing and two like a pussy.” the girl stated.Â

positives Ig
first off all, Cartia expresses most feelings through her artwork. So although she may not verbally tell you she is down, you could probably guess if you got a glimpse of her latest project. So if you ever wanna now just ask to see her art, which she’ll happily share.
this became very obvious when she was 17. that was when she got her first boyfriend. which was shocking to most, due to her rather beautiful features. He made her happy, or at least for the first three months… Her art work went from colourful, to neutrals, until it was straight up black and white. the subjects being drawn where no longer things of living but things of sadness and death. He started mocking her, cruelly poking fun at the girl. but only behind closed doors. he pulled every ounce of happiness out of her and through it in the trash. the relationship lasted nine months before it ended and then she was later treated for a mild case of depression.
secondly, she adores attention, didn’t get much of it growing up, so now when people show her the right kind she is allllllll over it. and i mean like complimenting her and boosting her lowkey lacking ego.
18 she discovered men weren’t the only option. after her year of slow recovery her art began to spark into colours and liveliness once more. her flings grew, dating just never was a topic no longer and despite her recovery from depression she had moments of it where it poked through but cartia pushed on.
Thirdly, Carty has never cheated, no. Been cheated on? yes. due to this she is a incredibly loyal human, but everyone makes mistakes sometimes. no she has never cheated but has she assisted someone cheat? yeah. in her defence they never tell her they are taken.
Negatives ig
number one, as a kid she didn’t get affection, attention or much love full stop. so sometimes despite how much she does adore attention, she just doesn’t know what to do and will become awkward. probably shy away a lil too, maybe even back down.
number two, alcohol has a pretty bad effect on her. as her parents didn’t care much for her, Cartia practically would go out and misbehave in hope for some kind of attention. she started drinking at 17, which is when she learnt when drinking her decisions are incredibly unpredictable and not to mention, she rarely remembers. however that doesn’t scare her, because she tends to deny when people tell her what she did.
number three, Cartia she is a bit of a angel faced devil. She’d be like that girl who as soon as u step out of line slightly, flips every table in the room and turns ur life into a mini personalise hell, until u apologise. also may do this when hungry so fair warning.
“Wow and I was really striving for a 10/10. I guess the tattoos and bitch face just doesn’t do it anymore.” He nodded. “You didn’t use washable paint?”
shrugging her shoulder’s despite him not being able to see, “look most people don’t intimidate me. i’m like not a judger.” she explained, dropping her brush into the jar of water and collecting her camera so she was able to snap a picture of her art. “i mean it’s acrylic but like... it’s on your back.” cartia was rather amused to say the least, the idea of the struggle was an selfish amusement.
“You sure? I don’t think they’ve seen mine yet.” Zion chuckled with a smirk and he squeezed his bulge. “Wow an easy target? Thats a new one, most people find me intimidating.”Â
rolling her eyes, “intimidating perhaps? maybe like an eight out of ten.” carty mumbled as her focus continued on the image at hand. “you’re gonna love trying to wash this off.” the brunette smirked, as she did the last finishing strokes.
Ingrid was leaning against the wall of the bar, abandoned long ago by a failed Tinder date. Giving out a bored sigh as she sipped on her gin and tonic, she turned to the person next to her. “Okay, we’re on a date, and you have to give me your best ice breaker question. What is it? Go!” She prompted them, giving the person a small, encouraging smile.
“ah wow, um.... fuck  i don’t know?” cartia let out a small laugh as she was completely caught off guard. “but i guess it depends, there is sexual ice breakers or normal. so?”
