hi!!!! i found you from your newsies fic on ao3 and i haven’t read it yet because i can’t devastate myself by ending an unfinished fic on “All this is to say that David Jacobs was intimately familiar with the feeling of watching a disaster unfold, knowing there was no way to stop it.” but i just had to ask if that’s permanently abandoned and i can write my own silly little ending in my journal or if you’re coming back to that in another few years and i should save it.
Believe me, I also don't want to be doing what I've been doing.
"Remaking the world" is not abandoned (nor are my other fics), I've just been having a real issue with writers block and getting back into the practice of writing. I had a lot of personal projects take priority and then personal stuff kept me busy, but I'm hoping to have more time to devote to the project come April this year. For context, I already have about 15k words of the next chapter written, and more of the fic beyond that so it's not something I've just set aside and not thought about. I'm working on it, it's just coming slower than expected.
That said, I respect a silly little ending as much as the next fanfic obsessed person so if that's something you want to do all power to you. Just rest assured it won't be the only ending you get :)
(Also if you have any questions about the fic I'm happy to answer them! It might be helpful as I get back into working on it after so long away.)
