as the one doing the writing for the chapters, i had two versions of this next chapter prepared, one from sam's POV and one from lucifer's. Resoundingly, y'all voted for a chapter from lucifer's POV, which, y'know, i hear y'all, but should i post both versions?

Summary:
A week after the world didn't end (again), Jack- stepping into his role as God- starts fixing what Chuck broke. Such as bringing back some of the people (and angels) that were killed. And Jack? Jack isn't a God that holds grudges- so that includes giving his biological Father another chance. With some terms and conditions that drop Lucifer right back in Sam's life.
Excerpt:
He grabbed Miracle by the collar, hauling him back, "I'm so sorry about him, I didn't think-" His voice dropped off as his throat tightened in panic, finally looking down at the man who was lying in the grass. Nick. Lucifer? Oh fuck. He froze like a startled deer, muscles locking down, eyes going wide.
He struggled in place for a moment, but Lucifer (and it had to be Lucifer, right? They had turned out similar, but surely Nick's soul had swiftly been drop kicked to Hell when Jack had burnt him up. And yeah, Sam felt bad that he hadn't been able to help Nick after everything that he'd been through, after everything Lucifer and Crowley had done to him, but some people were so broken that they were beyond help. He had to keep telling himself that to not let the guilt eat him up so much) hadn't even lifted his head, opened his eyes, turned to look at him yet. He could-
No. He found his voice with a sharp little inhale, "What are you doing here?" He asked. "No, I mean, how- how are you here?" He corrected.
Lucifer's (definitely Lucifer, the eyes, he could see it) eyes opened finally, drawing his arm up over his face as he squinted at Sam through the sunlight, "I assume that this is where you burned my body." He said. He rolled his head to the side to watch Miracle try to get back over to him, "Since when do you have a dog, Sammy?" His voice came out rough and dry, like he had been sleeping for a very long time. It still managed to send a chill down Sam's spine to hear him speak.
