After seeing multiple posts about that Sanguinius "art" I decided to run that image in ai detectors and the results truly surprised me. I know, I know, detectors aren't 100% reliable and they often give vastly different results or mark ai images as human made and vice versa, I've seen it all myself. Well here are the results from 9 different detectors, for your consideration:
Every single one I found and checked gave similar results but ai detectors aside, here are the reasons why I think this is a dishonest person:
1. Skill consistency
If you go to their blog you can filter their post by the tag #my art where you can see more of "their works" and the alleged progress. The images they are posting are so different in style and quality, you cannot convince me that the person who drew this (December 18th) also produced this (December 4th) just a few weeks prior. The second picture is literally tagged #december 2025. 2. Sketches No matter how you look at it their sketches are sketchy af. They don't follow any of the principles of what a sketch is and it's meaning in the art process. They are ai generated and ai doesn't know how making art works. To post it as a "proof" is scummy but also actually really helpful to determine that this person has no idea what they are trying to imitate. 3. "Art" details
Probably the most obvious giveaway. Despite their valiant effort and uploading their "art" in a tiny resolution just so no one can really zoom in on the details, you can still see the signature ai patterns that make no sense upon closer inspection. The brooch details (btw where did it come from?), the halo details, the patterns on the rim of the fabric on their jesus solas picture. It just doesn't make sense, these patterns don't connect naturally, there is no repetition resulting from a smart use of digital art tools, it's just vague randomness with the illusion of a pattern. Even the holly fruits and chains (or rather lights on the christmas tree, ai couldn't decide) make no sense. I went to check how young children usually draw these christmas decorations, and yeaaah they know how it works, unlike that ai slop above. 4. History of abuse This guy is pretty famous in certain fandoms for art theft, whitewashing stolen art (they called it "fixing OCs" or something along those lines, nauseating), racism (anti blackness, sinophobia, anti palestinian racism, islamophobia), antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny and the ongoing harassment campaign of specifically non white artists. They also post their bullshit across multiple blogs pretending to be different people that flirt with each other (hellooo?? yuck!). You don't have to take my word on it, you can just tumblr search their username(s) and see the proof with your own eyes, they are not exactly shy about it.
Idk about you but I personally have a very hard time trusting and respecting someone who behaves like this. (lmk if any links are broken; they might not work if you are blocked by this user)
🚨 AO3 SCAM ALERT 🚨
i've seen a lot of different types of bot comments on ao3 in the last six months, ranging from "artists" giving generic praise with the aim of luring you on another platform to scam you out of an art commission fee, to vitriolic ai-vomit attempting to make you delete your account so you won't be able to sue when your work is scraped, but this is the first one that strikes me as truly malicious, so i wanted to share it to make it easier to spot.
i'm not that well-versed in programming, but the command sequence listed in the end would seem to delete all your documents in your user folder on your computer? maybe it's a bogus line of code that won't do anything (i for one don't store anything in that folder), but it makes me worried about people accidentally deleting their writing all the same.
if anyone knows more about what this is intending to do to your device, please let me know!!
ao3 authors, stay vigilant and don't trust anything in a comment that is generic, impersonal, pressuring, hateful, or posted by a guest acting suspicious.

Can 2026 Be The Year When ALL ART SCAM ACCOUNTS ON THE INTERNET VANISH FOREVER, AND THEIR CREATORS FIND THEIR CROTCHES INFLAMED WITH INFECTION!
Lovingly writes a fic for my murder-murder-meow ship.
Patiently waits for the first comment.
48 hours later:
“What a beautiful way to write their dynamic in such adversarial set… bla bla bla. My name is Aniya34, reach out to me on discord for Art Commission!”
FUCK YOU!
FUCK YOU!
FUCK YOU!
Heads up babes, even newer spam technique:
I literally only use this email address when I need to leave a point of contact on a fic so someone can get ahold of me (usually because I am bookbinding their fic and want to send them a copy). I try to remember to delete those comments, but clearly left my email address on there. So they are trolling ao3 for such and sending this email:
I find myself wanting to point out all the things that can't be true about this email but. whatever. in sum: lies. for those unaware of how the story ends, the next steps if I reply are belligerent pestering for money, and if one pays, some ai slop art.

What drugs did AI take to hallucinate this emoji combo? Can I have some?
a lot of these scam blogs begging for money are using ai images and i keep seeing people fall for it, so here are a few tells ive learned:
- zoom in on text. even if the words are coherent, look for small inconsistencies with fonts, letter sizes, kerning etc. i saw one where the edges of the letters were really frizzy too
- look at things with familiar textures: clothes, fabrics etc. there are usually blotchy ai distortions or just general fuzziness that look off
- anatomy: if the fingers look weird, or if someone's feet are sized / oriented weirdly, or small things like that. also faces! esp in backgrounds if peoples faces look blurry when the rest of their body appears sharper, or if it looks like theyre wearing a mask
- backgrounds!! if there are buildings, do the windows look consistent? do the angles make sense? i saw one where there was a really skinny door in a corner that also became a hallway at the top.
- if there are a series of images, do the people who are supposed to be the same actually stay the same? i saw one where the purported kid of the person was just. a different kid. in some other pictures.
- not in the pictures, but if something about the account seems scammy/spammy. do they @ a butt ton of urls? are there #tags that arent in the actual tags? also if they make a post like "PLEASE. THIS MIGHT BE MY LAST POST" and then keep posting for weeks afterward, while constantly recycling their previous posts?
- your gut! if it just feels off, dont risk it.
there are probably other signs but thats what i can think of rn. i know theres a bunch of shitty stuff happening in the world rn, and yall who actually want to give your resources and support those in need are some truly kind people. but there are also some really malicious people out there looking to exploit those who just want to help, so keep aware, and also consider donating/supporting through other means as well.
AI isn’t just pie in the sky, it’s a cow pie in the sky.
Must read. Here' s a snippet to motivate you :
For the still-not-convinced: If you need an AI to come up with ideas for you, you don’t even belong in the fucking room, because ‘coming up with ideas’ is literally the most basic level skill to have. A basketball player who can’t dribble doesn’t belong in the NBA, so why the fuck do you think you deserve a spot on my writing team if you need a computer to do what any goddamn fucking eight year old can do? Take the fucking hint, you fucking fraud: if you need AI to do the most basic tasks required of you as a writer, then you aren’t employable as a writer. Period. Fuck you. You’re a waste of everyone’s time.
