let people be jerks, honestly. just ignore it. if they want to throw a fit and be rude, let them. i fully believe that in these cases taking the high ground is best. because you know they won't listen anyway. even if you politely correct the misinfo, they'll claim harassment. it's no win when it comes to confronting them.
