lol, I’m looking at the polls for most adoptable grown woman so far and noticed quite a handful of Genshin characters, how many do you think will make it past the first round?
Out of the 60+ submitted I'd hope that half move on but realistically I think only ~15 will? But hey, we shall see. I know nothing about Genshin and 3 days is plenty of time for some big changes to happen.

This might be a hard sell to non-umineko fans, but Beato is so many things, one of them is adaptable. She's a very complicated character and despite all her wrongs, I think she deserves to be adopted somewhere that won't abuse her. Though the reasoning for why might just spoil the entire novel.

Her backstory is a major spoiler, the whole story is about figuring out who she is, so I won't say it directly. She is the witch who's lived for a thousand years on Rokkenjima and the ruler of it's night. She's introduced as the Big Evil but she is really the tragic heroine!! she deserved a true parental figure because what she got was horribly fucked up and uhh...
She willingly and proudly takes the blame for the Rokkenjima massacre and despite being in a battle of life or death with Battler Ushiromiya, she gives herself handicaps and explains things to make them equal in the game. She gives Battler the ability to demand a red truth, which puts her at a horrible disadvantage if used correctly. In this battle, she's the only one who can lose and get a fate worse than death, yet she wants Battler to fight with all he's got. The senate is behind this.
She has clearly been wronged by the Ushiromiya family, which is why she kills them over and over again, but the truth is way worse than you initially think. Because the truth has none of the bedazzled jewels of magic, it's mercilessly human, and so damn cruel. She is the butterfly locked in a cage.
What she really needs was not the Ushiromiya family, but someone who could TREAT HER LIKE A DAMN REAL PERSON AND NOT A WITCH GET THESE MEN AWAY FROM HER ALL THE ADULTS ON THIS ISLAND SUCK!

It wasn't specified if the broadway or movie or book version of Les Mis was desired, so I went with the broadway version like how I did with Elphaba. Anyways, if you want to cry, listen to "I Dreamed A Dream." Or...just listen to Les Mis. All I can say is that it is appropriately named.
Ok, we need to vote Fantine. In the musical her story is simplified, originally she lived with a rich lover, who left her after a few months. She left Cosette with Thenardiers because she genuinely believed they were good people. She worked in a factory in Montreil-sur-Mer, got fired, tried to be a seamstress and then, when all options were exhausted, she started to work as a prostitute. She died thinking her daughter was in danger and sick. She deserves everything!
